Meeting Point

Piazzale Roma (Roma Square)

- Infront of the tourist information office.

Canneregio district

Starting from Cannaregio district where we could learn about St. Lucy & her journey to Venice & the famous Tintoretto. In addition to getting a glimpse of the Jewish quarter.

San Polo district

Then we pass onto San Polo's district where the Remarkable Rialto Bridge stands. Making our way to Santa Maria Gloriosa di Frari church and the memorable Campo San Barnaba, witnessing where Indiana Jones movies were filmed.

Dorsoduro district

Afterward, we walk in the beautiful Dorsadoro district, all the way to Punta Della Dogana to have a spectacular view of San Mark's Basin. Then we stop by Santa Maria Della Salute church before we head back to cross the Accademia Bridge.

San Marco district

From which we walk into Campo San Stefano making our way to witness one of the most mysterious houses of Venice, Ca' Dario. Then we continue walking to Venice’s most beautiful hidden gem, Scala Contarini Del Bovolo.

Last but not least, we make our way to San Marco Square, where we admire its beauty, as well as San Marco’s Basilica and Doge's palace from the outside. Then we finally walk to the bridge of Sighs & get to know the story behind its name.

Castello district

Walking across bridges, witnessing the most tilted tour in Venice of the Greek church, The Arsenal and Ending in Garibaldi street where I would suggest good restaurants to dine.

* Churches entrances if needed or required.

* Water bus ticket fees if needed for the clients, not for me as I have a monthly card.

* If clients want Gondola ride during the tour, they need to have cash with them. It is a fixed price all around Venice. 90 euros per 30 mins. Double that for an hour till 7 pm then it becomes 110 per 30 mins, double that for an hour.

Tour Important Information

* This tour involves a lot of walking, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes.

* The weather is very hot during day time of summer in Venice, so bring plenty of water, maybe a hand fan, umbrella or hat. Also wearing white or bright colours, better reflects the sun.

* This tour is not recommended for those with severe back/knee problems.

* This tour is not wheelchair accessible.

* Please let me know in advance if you have any food allergies or other dietary restrictions to know what to recommend to you.

* I do not guide tours inside the Basilica and Doge's palace. I recommend the audio guide by the entrance after our walking tour time, so you can spend adequate time admiring each.

About Tour Guide Raghda A.

My name is Raghda. I have been working as a local Guide in Venice for almost 2 years, taking clients on walking tours on the historic island. I am passionate about meeting people from all around the world and exchanging stories and experiences. I have lived in Venice since 2020 so I have built up quite a decent knowledge about the city and its sights. In the beginning, I was showing around friends and family who came to visit, then I realized that I have gained pretty decent information to start doing this as a job because it has become exciting to rediscover sights and even build up more knowledge as time goes by.

I enjoy interacting with different cultures and nationalities. I have lived and worked in several countries like Latvia, Poland, Spain, Turkey, Germany, Malta, and different cities in Italy as well.
