Meeting Point
Gyeongbokgung Station Exit 4 or Anguk Station Exit 2
- Gyeongbokgung Station Exit 4 if we visit Gyeongbokgung Palace, or Anguk Station Exit 2 if we visit Changdeokgung Palace. The final meeting point will be confirmed depending on the palace schedule and your preference.
Optional Hanbok Rental
If you want to wear a hanbok, we can stop by a nearby rental shop before entering the palace. Hanbok rental is optional and not included in the tour price. If you prefer not to wear hanbok, we can start the palace visit right away and spend more time inside the palace or nearby photo spots.
Palace Walk & Cultural Stories
We will explore either Gyeongbokgung Palace or Changdeokgung Palace and learn about Korean royal culture, architecture, history, and palace life in an easy and relaxed way. I will also take casual photos of you with my vintage digital camera at beautiful spots around the palace.
Bukchon Hanok Village
We will walk through Bukchon Hanok Village, one of Seoul’s most beautiful traditional neighborhoods. I will explain the history of the area, and how traditional houses still exist within modern Seoul.
During this part of the tour, we can also visit small local shops depending on your interests, such as cute souvenir shops, perfume shops, affordable cosmetic shops, or small creative experience spaces like T-shirt making. These activities are optional and may depend on shop availability on the day.
I will also take casual photos of you with my vintage digital camera in the alleys, quiet corners, and photo-friendly spots around Bukchon.
Local Lunch
We will have lunch at a local restaurant nearby. The restaurant will be chosen based on your taste, budget, dietary needs, and the situation on the day. I can recommend Korean food, casual local restaurants, or lighter options depending on your preference.
Café Break
After walking, we will take a relaxed break at a café. I can recommend a café based on your style, such as traditional, quiet, trendy, or photo-friendly. This is also a good time to rest and enjoy the local atmosphere.
Jogyesa Temple & Insadong
We will visit one more beautiful local photo spot. Depending on the weather, crowds, and your interests, we may visit Jogyesa Temple, Insadong (folk street) or a quiet hidden alley nearby. This part of the tour is flexible and will be adjusted to create the best experience and photo moments.
Ending Point
The tour will end at the nearest subway station to the final photo spot. I will help you find the best way to get to your next destination after the tour.

About Tour Guide Hayoung Y.
Hi, I’m Hayoung. You can also call me Iris.
I have always been drawn to things that feel different, so I want to make your trip less typical, more personal, and closer to the local side of Korea.
I’m a licensed local guide based in Seoul, with a young, trendy, and stylish perspective on Korea. I love introducing both the classic side of Seoul, such as palaces, history, and culture, and the modern local side, including fashion, cafés, beauty, food, hidden spots, and current trends.
Before becoming a guide, I worked as a travel blogger and majored in fashion design. This background helps me create tours with a good sense of storytelling, photo spots, style, and practical travel tips. I also have my own curated list of more than 1,000 restaurants & beautiful spots, so I can recommend food & sightseeing spots based on your taste, budget, mood, and travel style.
I can also create custom tours based on your interests, whether you want modern Seoul, palace tours, fashion and shopping, local food, Korean nature, or even remote hidden destinations beyond Seoul. (especially NATURE) More than anything, I truly love travel and meeting people from around the world. My goal is to make you feel comfortable and excited, like exploring Korea with a local friend who also happens to be a professional guide.
Let’s explore Korea together and make your trip unforgettable!
