Gyeongbokgung Royal Palace or Changdeokgung royal palace
Gyeongbokgung Palace was the first and largest of the royal palaces built during the Joseon Dynasty. Built in 1395, Gyeongbokgung Palace was located at the heart of the newly appointed capital of Seoul (then known as Hanyang) and represented the sovereignty of the Joseon Dynasty. The largest of the Five Grand Palaces (the others being Gyeonghuigung Palace, Deoksugung Palace, Changgyeonggung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace), Gyeongbokgung served as the main palace of the Joseon Dynasty.

Jogyesa Buddhist temple
The origin of Jogyesa Temple dates back to 1910 when a Buddhist temple named Gakhwangsa was established to be combined with the central office of the Korean Buddhism which had been in Wonheungsa Temple. The establishment of Jogyesa Temple led to the movement to reform the Korean Buddhism in the modern period. Today, Jogyesa Temple is widely regarded as one of the most important Buddhist temples in Korea providing an easily accessible venue for various religious and secular gatherings.
Bukchon Han-ok Village
An old residential district containing about 860 Korean traditional houses (hanok), Bukchon (“North Town”) is thus named because it is located north of Cheonggyecheon, a stream cutting across downtown Seoul. Formed on a site flanked by two of the Joseon’s royal palaces, Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung, the district had been a hub of Joseon’s politics, administration and culture as it contained homes of royals, high-ranking officials and Confucian literati elites of the dynasty.
Seoul Tower(N) tower or Namdaemun traditional market
Seoul (N)Tower:
Namsan Seoul Tower was the first tower-type tourism spot in Korea. The top of the tower is at almost 480m above sea level, including Namsan Mountain (243m) and the tower’s own height (236.7m), making it one of the tallest towers in the Orient. It is comprised of Seoul Tower Plaza, recently opened to public access after 40 years, and N Seoul Tower was first established as a broadcast tower to send out TV and radio signals in 1969. As of now, it has become one of the representative landmarks and multi-cultural venues in Seoul.
Namdaemun market;
Namdaemun Market is the largest traditional market in Korea with over 10,000 stores that line the streets around Namdaemun (Gate), the main southern gate of the old city wall. Namdaemun Market first started under the reign of King Taejong (1367 – 1422, the third Joseon king) during the Joseon Dynasty (1392 – 1910), when the government built shops around Namdaemun and rented out the shops to traders. It boasts one of the largest distribution structures in Korea, providing local products, daily living essentials, food products, medical supplies and more to retailers and consumers across the country.
