About Tour Guide Juhee K.
Hi! I’m Juhee, a nationally certified tour guide with the heart of a teacher and a passion for sharing Korea in a meaningful way.
I have over six years of experience teaching Korean to learners from more than 20 countries, ranging from children to adults, both in the U.S. and Korea. Teaching the language naturally led me to culture and history—because once students begin to understand Korean, they always become curious about why things are done a certain way here. I’ve also taught a university summer course, “Introduction to Korean Cinema,” exploring Korean history and society through films and dramas.
That curiosity eventually brought me into tour guiding. My goal is to help visitors understand Korea through stories, context, and real-life experiences, not just facts. Thanks to my teaching background, I explain things clearly and at a comfortable pace—never rushed or overwhelming.
My tours are well-organized, interactive, and friendly. I tailor each experience to guests’ interests, introduce useful Korean expressions along the way, and connect Korea’s past with everyday life today—from royal palaces and historic sites to places locals genuinely enjoy.
If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, positive, and approachable guide, I’d love to show you around Seoul. Let’s explore Korea with curiosity, clarity, and great energy.

“The Ultimate Bespoke Seoul Experience – Juhee is an Incredible Guide!”
If you are looking for a guide who goes above and beyond, book Juhee! She created a completely custom, multi-day itinerary for our family of eight (ages 21 to 70). In her own free time, Juhee did extensive research to tailor every detail to our family’s specific needs, interests, and quirks. Instead of crowded tourist traps and long lines, she curated a magical mix of Korean culture, history, and local hidden gems. Day 1: Royal History & Local Flavors Joseon Era & Palace Village: We dressed in traditional hanboks and explored the village surrounding Changdeokgung Palace, learning about royal traditions and architecture. Authentic Local Lunch: Juhee brought us to a quaint, family-owned restaurant off the beaten path where the owner personally served us. We learned the fascinating culture behind Korean side-dish pairings. Neighborhood Tea Shop: We unwound at a bustling local tea shop, enjoying traditional medicinal herbal teas served with true warmth by the owners. Day 2: Serene Temples, Hanji Crafts & Vibrant Markets Magnificent Temple Retreat: Juhee arranged a private van from our Airbnb to a serene, pristine temple outside Seoul. We paid our respects, saw traditional kimchi storage, and enjoyed an ultra-fresh lunch featuring organic vegetables and noodles sourced directly near the DMZ! Interactive Hanji Paper Crafting: In a traditional Hanok village, we sat inside a historic Hanok home with a local teacher and crafted our own Hanji paper souvenirs—a deeply relaxing and unforgettable activity. Local Market Exploration: We finished the day immersing our senses in an authentic neighborhood market, feasting on fresh fruit and local snacks alongside neighborhood residents. Juhee is knowledgeable, thoughtful, and deeply passionate about what she does. Her dedication and behind-the-scenes effort made our Seoul trip a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We cannot recommend her enough!

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a thoughtful and detailed review! ️ It was truly a pleasure to spend those two days with your wonderful family. Planning a trip for eight people with such a wide range of ages was a fun challenge, and I’m so happy that I could create an itinerary that everyone could enjoy. Thank you again for trusting me with your time in Seoul and for your incredibly kind words. I truly hope we have the chance to meet again someday, either in Korea or somewhere along your future travels! ️:)

“Best Tour Guide Ever!”
We had originally booked a tour with Junhee, but our flight was canceled and then delayed again, so we weren’t able to meet on the date we had agreed on. According to the terms, she was not obligated to make up the lost time, but Junhee graciously met us on another date and still took us on the tour. Not only that, she also helped me purchase additional advance tickets to visit the Secret Garden, which I truly appreciated. Junhee is knowledgeable, kind, thoughtful, and has the best personality. She made the experience feel personal and memorable. It’s really the people you meet who make a trip special, and Junhee was definitely one of those people for us. I highly recommend her!

HI Kristen!!! Thank you so much for your kind words! It truly means a lot to me. I was so happy that we were able to make the tour happen despite all the flight delays and schedule changes. It was a pleasure meeting all of you, and I’m glad I could help with the Secret Garden tickets as well. I already miss you all! Thank you for making the day so enjoyable and memorable for me too. I hope the rest of your trip was wonderful and that you made many more great memories during your time in Korea. Wishing you safe travels and all the best, and hopefully our paths will cross again someday!

“Excellent and Knowledgeable Tour Guide”
Juhee K. is very friendly, helpful and assisted us from her proposed itinerary to places of attractions to the booking process. She even offered to meet us at our hotel since it is our first time visiting South Korea and we are not familiar with transportation around Seoul. Best of all, she taught me and my wife basic Korean phrases and accompanied us during meals so that we can try to order food ourselves in Korean language. Strongly recommend her to anyone visiting South Korean and considering a personal tour guide!

Thank you so much for your kind words! It was truly a pleasure meeting you and being part of your first trip to South Korea. I’m so happy to hear that you enjoyed the itinerary, the food experiences, and even learning a little Korean along the way You and your wife did such a great job trying to order in Korean, and I really appreciated how open and enthusiastic you were throughout the tour. That always makes the experience more meaningful and fun for me as a guide too. Thank you again for your trust and the review. I hope you will come back to Korea again someday, and until then, I wish you both safe travels and wonderful memories together!
