Seoul has been capital city since Joseon dynasty, founded 1392, and surrounded by the Citywall (or called Hanyang dosung) with 19km long, On the wall we can pass some of the main gates and small gates located between main ones, and along the wall trekking, trekkers can be found our past, present and future. It is combo tour mixed by historical things and nature trekking, imgine how come you can hike inside the capital city. It will bring you a new experience.

Quick DDP(Dongdaemun Design and Plaza) tour
Dongdaemun means east gate on the Citywall, It is the largest fashion market in S. Korea for retail and wholesale.
DDP building has unique feature like space shuttle, and plays an important role as the heart of fashion clusters. At starting we can pass this building and hear the storyline of this place.
Citywall museum
This is the place we can learn about the Josein dynasty, how we build the Citywall and its history, after this museum tour, you can get better understanding of Joseon dynasty.
Citywall trekking start
Main trekking on the citywall will be started after the museum tour thru Naksan park, Hyehwa gate, Waryong park, North gate, Baekaksan peak, & Changuimun gate.
lunch with gimbap or others
lunch box with gimbap or others will be prepared before start the tour at DDP area.
Trekking continued.
Trekking will be continued after lunch.
Trekking end either at Changuimun gate or Inwangsan entrance.
Trekking ends either at Changuimun gate or Inwangsan trailend, the ending point will be different upon trekkers' status like physical
and trekking speed.

Tour Important Information
1. The museum is closed on Monday, so it will be passed on that day.
2. Handicap, chronical desease person, & kids are not allowed for this tour, only adult and good fitness one.
3. I can cover 6 guests for trekking.
4. The itinerary is a standard one for everyone, so it can be customized for you upon request.
5. Trekking distance from DDP to ending point would be 7-12km, it will be determined by trekker's status.
6. All participants should wear the trekking shoes, backpacks with above 30L capacity, sticks, glove and other gears.
7. I have a "MOUNT EXPERT INSTRUCTOR" certificate issued by KNPS(Korea National Park Service), Only few tour guide has it in Korea.
If it is rainy day, then we have other indoor activity like museum tour etc.

“Amazing Suwon, Wonju, and Catholic sites tour with Hans”
I had a wonderful 2 days tour with Hans exploring various sites in Suwon, Wonju and many historical churches there. ““Excellent Experience””
The tour I had with Mr Hans I must say was an excellent experience. From the time I made my initial inquiry about the booking upto the time he dropped me off in Seoul Station was AMAZING! He always respond to my emails in a timely manner! He was a very knowledgeable, fun, attentive, hospitable and very professional. I enjoyed my short layover stay in Seoul. “Friendly and Knowledgeable Guide and Excellent Driver!”
We booked a custom DMZ tour with Hans. I was very specific and detailed about the sites we wanted to see, which I recommend. Hans was incredibly kind and accommodating. He picked our group up at 2 different hotels and told us about the history of sites in Seoul as he drove through the city. His English is great, of course. He is very knowledgeable about the history of the city as well as the philosophy, which was wonderful to learn about. As we drove to Paju I was very pleased (and relieved after all of the taxi rides we'd had in Seoul) that he is a fantastic driver, we felt very safe and he drove very smoothly and not too fast or jerky. The van is large and can comfortably accommodate 9 passengers, I believe. Unfortunately one of the main tours we wanted to visit was not available which was very disappointing but he was very understanding about adjusting our tour which I appreciate very much. We continued on the tour and had a nice meal and visited several other sites. He was so kind to our children and very patient with the pace of the tour and stopping for bathroom and snack breaks. It was very hot!! Overall it was a lovely tour and I would definitely recommend Hans as a tour guide. He also does hiking and biking tours, which seems very unique, especially since Korea is quite different than the US when it comes to camping accommodations.

Paju DMZ with 3rd tunnel & Peace park tour
Paju is the nearest place where tourists can see the north Korea land crossed the border, drawn on 38th degree of north latitude right after the World War 2. After crossing the Southern Limit Line, we reach to the DMZ where is Dora Observatory and 3rd Infiltration tunnel built by north Korea. At folk village, it is time to feel the lifestyle of Joseon dynasty under confucian society, and houses and culture like time machine travel.
