As we stroll through the narrow alleyways, we'll discover hidden gems and landmarks that make the Medina so special. From the bustling souks, where you can find everything from spices to handmade crafts, to the charming cafes and restaurants that line the streets, there's something for everyone in the Medina.
Along the way, we'll learn about the history and traditions of Tangier, and discover what makes this city so unique. So, get ready to immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and smells of the Medina, as we explore all that this fascinating part of Tangier has to offer.
This fortified historic district was once the seat of power in the city, and it still retains much of its original charm and character. As we make our way through the narrow alleyways and cobbled streets, we'll discover hidden courtyards, ornate doorways, and stunning views of the city and the sea beyond.
One of the highlights of our visit will be the Kasbah Palace, a beautiful 17th-century building that was once the residence of the city's governor. The palace is now a museum, and we'll have the chance to explore its many rooms and exhibits, which showcase the history and culture of Tangier.
As we wander through the palace, we'll marvel at the intricate tilework, elegant archways, and ornate decorations that make this building so special. Our next stop will take us to the winding streets and vibrant markets of the Medina. We'll begin our exploration at the Grand Socco, a lively square that serves as the heart of the city. From there, we'll make our way to the Petit Socco, a smaller, more intimate square that is home to some of the city's best cafes and restaurants.
As we continue our stroll through the Medina, we'll visit the Gardens of the Mendoubia, a peaceful oasis in the heart of the city that offers a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of the souks. We'll also explore the Jewish Quarter, a historic neighborhood that was once home to a thriving community of Jewish merchants and craftsmen.
One of the highlights of our tour will be a visit to the Berber market, where we'll have the chance to browse through an array of traditional handicrafts and souvenirs, including textiles, ceramics, and jewelry. We'll also explore the souks, or markets, where we'll be surrounded by a kaleidoscope of colors, scents, and sounds, as vendors sell everything from spices and teas to leather goods and clothing.

Our next destination is Chefchaouen, which is approximately a 2-hour drive away.
The old medina of Chefchaouen is a delight of Morocco and Andalusian influence with red tile roofs, bright blue buildings and alleys. At the turn of its narrow streets decorated with Mediterranean whitewashed houses embellished with smalt blue, you will discover historical monuments such as the great mosque "El Masjid El Adamaa".

Place Outa el Hammam & Kasbah is the main square of the old town. this historic square is bordered by the Kasbah, mosque and popular restaurants. It gives access to supperbes alleys of the medina. The square itself provides a place to buy or drink a traditional Moroccan mint tea after climbing the tower.
Ras El Maa is a beautiful waterfall beyond the door of the magic medina of Chefchaouen. it is considered as an authentic source of the city and at the same time one of the most interesting attractions of Chefchaouen. From there, the water comes out of the mountain forming a handful of small waterfalls, where local women come to wash and hang them to dry.
(Optional) - It is a 20 minutes walk up to the Spanish mosque and you will have a beautiful view on the city! From the hilltop minaret you’ll have a grand view of the entire town sprawling over the green hills below.
