Once, you settled in, you can explore the tourist hub Thamel, where lots of small shops, cafes, clubbed are and the restaurants to choose your favorites meal. If you wish there are lots of places and things to do, to stretch your legs as your taste.
After early morning breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel for a day long tour. Today you will visit three important Buddhist sites, Swoyambhunath, Boudhanath and Kapan. You will return to your hotel by evening.

Swoyambhunath: Swoyambhunath is a world heritage monument dedicated to Tibetan Buddhism. The unique dome shaped Buddhist stupa was built some 2500 years ago when Kathmandu was under the influence of Tibetan rulers. Also called Monkey Temple, the stupa is situated west of Kathmandu and built on the top of a hill surrounded by green forests. There are temples, stupas, statues and shrines dedicated to Buddha along with a monastery, museum and library
Boudhanath: Boudhanath is also a world heritage monument located north of Kathmandu. The dome shaped spherical stupa which upholds the all seeing pair of eyes of Buddha. The stupa is believed to have been built by Tibetan emperor some 2500 years agao. The stupa was completely rebuilt after it had been destroyed by the earthquake of 2015.
Kapan: Kapan Monastery is one of the most popular Buddhist monastery in Kathmandu Valley, located north of Kathmandu. The monastery was established by renwoned Zopa Rinpoche and has a monastic school for 360 monks from Nepal and Tibet along with 380 nuns who live nearby Khachoe Ghakyil Ling Nunnery.
Wake up early and start the day with a warm breakfast. Our tour guide will meet you at the hotel and brief you about today’s programme. You will drive to the famous Buddhist site of Namo Buddha where you will spend the day sightseeing the local attractions. You will return to your hotel in Kathmandu by later afternoon.
Dhulikhel
Dhulikhel is one of the more popular places from which to observe the high Himalaya. From the edge of the ridge, a stunning panorama of peaks unfolds, from Langtang Lirung (23,710ft/7227m) in the west, through Dorje Lakpa (22,854ft/6966m) to the huge bulk of Gauri Shankar (23,405ft/7134m) and nearby Melungtse (23,560ft/7181m), and as far as Numbur (19,505ft/5945m) in the east. The most common itinerary is two nights with a side trip to the sacred stupa at Namobuddha, a 7 mile (12km) drive or three-hour walk south.
Namobudha
Namo Buddha is a beautiful place. There is no need to exaggerate this. The place is very quiet and pure. Its environment is very clean, with no pollution, and the natural air is so fresh, cool and healthy. It is also the right place for meditation and practice. In the morning when you wake up, you can see a beautiful sunrise. In the evening you can see a wonderful sunset. You can enjoy snow-covered Himalayan ranges which look so amazing and pure.
From the Buddhist point of view, Namo Buddha is one of the most important religious sites in Nepal. There are three major Buddhist pilgrimage sites: Boudha Stupa, Swayambhunath Stupa and Namo Buddha.
Early morning drive to Lumbini. It takes around 8-9 hours to reach Lumbini following Prithivi Highway and East West Highway.

A world heritage site, Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha, the founder of Buddhism and apostle of peace. Located in southwestern region of Nepal in the Terai plains, Lumbini is a world heritage site and one of the world’s greatest pilgrimage centers. Hundreds of thousands tourists and pilgrims visit to this sacred site every year to pay their respects to Lord Buddha.
Lumbini hosts archaeological remains of palaces, courtyards, ponds, stones and statues that date back to some 2500 years ago. At the heart of Lumbini is the Sacred Garden. Spread around 9 km, this is where Buddha was born as Prince Siddartha Gautam to Queen Maya Devi. The exact nativity site is marked by a Ashokan Pillar erected by Emperor Ashoka in 249 BC. A marker stone discovered in the Mayadevi Temple which stands adjacent to this pillar is regarded as the exact spot where Siddhartha Gautam Buddha was born.Another sacred site in the Garden is the Puskarni Pond where Queen Mayadevi is believed to have taken bath before giving birth to Buddha.
There are as many as 62 archaeological sites scattered around Lumbini such as Tilaurakot, Kudan, Gothihawa, Niglihawa, Sagarhawa, Aurorakot, Devadaha and Ramagrama. Each of these sites hold significance in the life and times of Buddha are highly recommended for any visitors. Other sites of importance in Lumbini are Buddhist Library, Crane Sanctuary, world peace stupa, international monastic zones, and numerous monasteries, stupas and viharas that dot the landscape.
The holy site of Lumbini, also enlisted within the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, holds immense archaeological and religious importance. It comprises of ruins of ancient monasteries, a sacred Bodhi Tree, an ancient bathing pond, the Ashok Pillar (erected by Emperor Ashoka in 249 BC on the spot of Buddha’s birth which also bears the oldest inscription of Nepal) and the Maya Devi temple. Maya Devi temple is the spiritual heart of Lumbini which marks the spot where Queen Maya Devi gave birth to Siddhartha Gautam. From early morning to early evening, pilgrims from various countries perform chanting and meditation at the site. You also visit the museum, peace pagoda and spend your day exploring the area and its temples, monuments and ancient sites soaking up the serene ambience.
From there you drive about 29km west of Lumbini, and reach Tilaurakot, the historical site of Kapilavastu, where Siddhartha Gautam spent the first 29 years of his life. The site sits in a peaceful meadow on the banks of the Banganga River. The showy shrine nearby with several carved pachyderms is dedicated to Maya Devi. There’s a small museum at the final that displays some of the artefacts found at the site. After you’ve visited the place, you drive back to Lumbini. Overnight in Lumbini.
Visit Ramgrama Monastery and drive to Chitwan and overnight at guesthouse
You will visit the Ramagrama monastery today. The monastery consists of different Buddha statues, art, and artifacts. After exploring the historically significant Lumbini, you will drive towards Chitwan today.
The route from Lumbini to Chitwan will take you around 6 hours drive. Viewing the rugged landscape and natural beauty of the region you will stop at Chitwan.
Chitwan is one of the major tourist destinations in Nepal. The place is most popular among nature and animal lovers. As you reach Chitwan, you will stay at a hotel overnight.
Today you will spend most of your time exploring the Chitwan National Park. Chitwan National Park is the first national park of Nepal and is listed as the UNESCO World Heritage site in 1984.
The national park is a protected region in Chitwan, home to many wild species of plants, animals, and birds. Chitwan National Park consists of some of the rare animals such as red panda, one horned Rhino, snow leopard and plants such as Jatamasi, Golden Michelia, etc. The most exciting thing about visiting Chitwan National Park is the jungle safari tour. You can either choose Elephant safari tour or jeep safari tour where you will get a chance to encounter some of the wild animals.
Visiting the elephant breeding site is also a great experience to have during the Chitwan National Park Tour.
From Chitwan, you will have your breakfast and head to Pokhara Overlooking the scenic beauty along the way just outside your window and crossing several rivers, you will finally reach the “city of Lakes”, Pokhara. Pokhara is one of the most popular tourist hubs in Nepal than holds major attractions such as ancient and historical sites.
The majestic Himalayan ranges such as Mount Annapurna, Mount Dhaulagiri and Mount Machhapuchhre will surround you as you walk towards your hotel.
On the fourth day of your trip, you will explore the beautiful city of Pokhara. On this day, you will have your breakfast early in the morning and towards Male Patan. The day is mostly about visiting some of the captivating places and historical sites of Pokhara.
Today you will explore the amazing Hemja Monastery and Hemja Tibetan camp. Along with this, you will take a visit to Peace Pagoda stupa lying southwest of Pokhara. Also known to the name Shanti Stupa, the World Peace Pagoda comprises of different artifacts and statues of Buddha. Along with this, you will explore many Buddhist temples, Monks school, and Tibetan Market of Pokhara.
You can also head towards Sarankot, which is the sunrise and sunset viewpoint of Pokhara. At the evening, boating in the Phewa and Begnas lake can be an option.
From Pokhara, you will have your breakfast and head to Kathmandu. Admiring the scenic beauty of Nepal, driving alongside different rivers and several settlements of villages such as bandipur and Mugling, you will reach Kathmandu.
Your driving journey takes about 6-7 hours to reach the valley of temples, Kathmandu. On reaching Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Today is the last day of your trip. You will pack your bags and our representatives from Nepal Hiking Adventure will pick you at the Hotel. He/she will drive you to the Tribhuvan International Airport for the final departure.
