Day trip from Amsterdam with your own private art historian: Haarlem or Keukenhof tulip Gardens (in tulip seaon only: half of March until half of May), Zaanse Schans Windmills, fishermen villages and a family cheese farm.

Meeting Point

Your hotel in Amsterdam
Pick up at your hotel in Amsterdam.We'll use my car, a comfortable rental car, a VIP van with private driver or coach with driver to go around (depending on the size of your group).
Haarlem or Keukenhof tulip Gardens
We'll visit the famous Keukenhof when in season (half of March until half of May) or do a city walk in picturesque Haarlem (center of Tulpomania). There's time for lunch.
Zaanse Schans
We'll visit the Zaanse Schans with windmills and Zaanse houses. We can enter The Cat, a paint mill and see a wooden shoe demonstration.
Countryside and fishermen villages
We'll drive around in the countryside, Unesco Heritage site, with dykes, sheep and cows, and visit cute fishermen villages like Volendam (famous for smoked eal), Edam (famous for its cheese!) and more. We can also visit a family cheese farm to see a demonstration, try some cheese and cuddle the cows.

Inclusions & Exclusions
Included are my services as your private guide and my expertise as art historian during the tour. I will meet you in your hotel in Amsterdam and this is where our tour will end too. Price of this tour is per tour, not per person, for 8 hours.
Not included are museum fees (based on your preferences) or ticket Keukenhof or windmill, food and drinks, personal expenses, transportation (based on your group size), extra hours, or other services, when required.

“Excellent guide”
Excellent Guide ... knowledgeable and fun... what more could you ask for! She got us up close with "The Girl with the Pearl Earring" and the city tour was very fun. The Peace Palace was beautiful as well.
