We will walk through vineyards, centuries old olive fields, shale terraces and Family Wineries. Experience natural cork trees, amazing valleys, rivers and fantastic viewpoints overlooking the Douro Valley.

Depending on your physical capabilities, we can plan the following trails together:
- EASY - flat area on a hill top, phenomenal, out of this world views, overlooking the valleys, rivers and wineries. You can also interact with the surrounding nature, centenary vineyards, olive trees, cork-oak trees and shale terraces
- LIGHT - downhill trail from the top of a wine village named Provesende, to the river side village of Pinhao or Casal de Loivos. We will walk through the village center then explore the narrow streets between the vineyards and olive fields. The view going down Pinhão Valley is amazing, revealing a few more hidden gems along the way.
- MODERATE to STRENUOUS - We start from the train station and climb up to the wine village of Provesende, you really need strong legs to do this trail, some trails have an elevation greayer than 18% but it's well worth it! We will pass by wineries, amazing viewpoints and forgotten villages in the middle of nowhere - by the end you will have a great nights sleep!

** Bring proper sturdy shoes/footware - we will be walking through shale terraces, downhill trails and uneven surfaces**
*** Depending on your physical capabilities, we can choose a more suitable terrain such as a flat area, uphill or downhill, it´s up to you :) ***

My name is Ricardo and I was born and raised in Porto City.
Although tourism changed Porto for the best (in my opinion) for the last 5 years, me and my family had to move out from Porto, into the bush, housing and living costs became very high and we made the choice that we should move out to the countryside.
In this last year 2020 and even this year 2021 with pandemic work just fell down drastically and we had to adapt. Making Port Wine, Muscat wine and sometimes olive oil in a amatuer way since 2014, this hobbie become my family income. With vineyards and olives fields almost abandoned from the pandemic I rolled up my sleeves and went to work, asking neighbours and friends if I could keep their grapes and olives for harvest time, their answers were immediately YES
Dividing my life between Porto and Douro Valley, me and my family feel completely safe, happy and relaxed with this new way of living your life.
