The Castle of Salahudddin was built by ٍSultan Salahuddin El Ayouby, at the end of the 12th century. He was the founder of the Ayyubid Dynasty and a great army leader. It has the massive, beautiful alabaster mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha from which you can see the most magnificent scene of the city of Cairo from the rooftop.
