Hello! Welcome to my page and hopefully soon, New York! I am a born and bred NY Native, having grown up in Manhattan on the Upper West Side. The city, its people, food, neighborhoods, rich diverse history, cutting edge innovation, storied nightlife and world-renowned cultural treasures were my playground and classroom; and I am so grateful to have had this teacher. After University, I lived for three years in London and Paris - and then returned to my home town where I have been enjoying my work in Tourism and Hospitality ever since. I’ve been a professional guide for many years working for companies like Tui, Globus and Disney. I have lead groups, both large and small, that include students, adults, business professionals, and retirees from the U.S. and abroad. I love taking guests around my beautiful city, and re-discovering its majesty and wonder with visitors - this is truly a privilege. I excel at private tours and in sharing the magical experiences that can only be found in this dynamic and daunting city. Together, we will unlock it's secrets and discover why NYC, the star of so many memorable movies and novels, is such a beloved, romantic and exciting city. What do I do in my spare time? I write, act, garden and hike. I teach kids financial literacy in an after school enrichment program. I walk my wonderful dog in Brooklyn Bridge Park and I take advantage of the world-class museums and restaurants this great city has to offer. If you wish, I would be happy to work together and plan your perfect itinerary with a customized experience - or you may choose from one or more of my predesignated tour options. Hello I am Keith, a Singaporean born and bred. I am a part time engineer, full time traveller. As a traveller, I like to explore places where locals go to and watch people in their everyday activities. Through conversations with the locals, I get to know of their culture, customs and way of life. I believe travel should be about people, not just places. Looking for a local who can show you around Singapore like a friend would? Look no further. I enjoy meeting people and introducing Singapore to foreign friends, especially the non-touristy local places. I am sincere, flexible when it comes to the itinerary, and enjoys the exchange of culture with my guests. Singapore offers a fascinating blend of Western modernity and Asian culture. Through a series of thoughtfully designed tours on culture, nature, history, architecture and food, join me to explore some of the best (secret) non-touristy local experiences in Singapore. If you have other places of interest in mind, I can customise the tour to include them. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

I have been an Interpretive Tour Guide for over 20 years. I landed in Japan with the United States Air Force in 1983 and have been learning, tasting and enjoying Japanese food all this time! Woohhoooo!! As an ex-Executive Assistant Food and Beverage Manager/Director, I know food, most of all Japanese food, and I want to show you how fun and incredible it is! I promise your time with me will be fruitful, (get the pun?) making some amazing memories along the way. I used to do daytime cultural tours until the pandemic left us out in the cold for three years so I had to switch over and do something else in which now I run a food tent and a food truck, making delicious smash burgers and tacos. Even though I was number one on a renowned travel platform for a while, I have selected to only do evening food and sake tours now. I also run a children's food bag program three days a week that we started about a year and a half ago. So if you would like me to take you around, I will still give you cultural and historical information, feed you amazing food and create some great memories for you to take home.

Hi, I'm Akari! Your local guide for Kamakura, Enoshima, and Yokohama. Before settling down in beautiful, historical Kamakura, I lived in Tokyo and Yokohama for over 10 years, giving me a deep understanding of both big-city energy and coastal charm—nestled between the ocean and mountains, which I love the most! For me, guiding isn't just about hitting the famous sightseeing spots—it's about giving you those "Aha!" moments through our rich history and customs. As a local, I'm obsessed with exploring hidden gems outside the capital. Miki J.
My name is Miki, and I was born and raised in Kyoto. The streets, temples, shrines, gardens, arts and crafts, and traditions here have been part of my life since childhood, and sharing them with visitors is something I truly love. My father designs traditional Sukiya-style architecture, Japanese gardens, and tea rooms, and is also a passionate collector of antiques from Japan and Korea. Through his work, I developed a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship and beauty found throughout Japanese culture. My mother is a professional cook, and I grew up watching my parents warmly welcome guests into our home, preparing matcha and meals while creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. From them, I learned the spirit of Japanese hospitality Omotenashi. I began learning English at an international school in elementary school, which allowed me to communicate with people from many different countries from a young age. Over time, I realized how much I enjoy helping people discover the deeper meaning behind the places we visit. Kyoto is a city where every temple, shrine, garden, and small street has a story. While many visitors are drawn to its beauty, understanding the history and traditions behind these places makes the experience even more meaningful. I love sharing these stories and introducing hidden local spots that many visitors might otherwise miss. My goal is to help you experience Kyoto with all five senses and enjoy the culture and traditions that make this city so special. Whether it is your first time visiting Japan or you are returning to Kyoto, I would be truly honored to share this beautiful city with you. If I can help create even a small, special moment in Kyoto that becomes a lasting memory for you, it would be my greatest happiness.
