Barcelona Tour Guide - André O.

André O.

Spain

When I left my hometown Düsseldorf in 1999 to move to Barcelona, the Catalan capital was rather a polluted, shady and even dangerous industrial site than the trendy and cosmopolitan tourist destination it is nowadays. I came into town as a photographer and event manager and despite of Barcelona's guff post-industrial charm I was instantly overwhelmed by the creativity and passion of its people, their way of seeing things and to live their lives. With the time I got more and more attracted by tourism and achieved work experience as a property manager and travel consultor. Finally, I launched my own little travel consultancy in 2016 and since that I am offering luxury accommodations, DMC / concierge services and a wide range of day tours and group activities. My core business are private day tours from Barcelona to destinations like Girona, Tarragona, Sitges, Vic, Besalú or areas like Costa Brava, Penedés or Priorat. My mission is to leave the beaten path and to make my customers discover unique historical sites, beautiful landscapes, vibrant street life and amazing food and wine experiences. For the tour we use a comfy, private SUV that fits 4 passengers + driver / guide. The tours can be done in English, Spanish, French and German and they can generally be customised to meet the interests and needs of the group at any time. During the tour you get an idea of the long and diverse history of the sites, local traditions s.a. insights about lifestyle, culture and social concerns.

Barcelona Tour Guide - Vincent K.

Spain

Bon dia (hello in Catalan), my name is Vincent. I am a passionate and knowledgeable tour guide with a deep love for sharing the wonders of Catalonia with others. With a background in tourism and cycling, I have honed the skills necessary to provide engaging and informative tours for people coming to Catalonia. Having travelled extensively and explored a wide range of destinations within Catalonia, I possess a wealth of cultural and historical insights that enrich every tour experience. I´m known for my ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds, making each tour a memorable and personal journey for every guest. Our tours will be mostly done with bicycles (rental E-bikes). However, for people who enjoy walking/hiking I can also make trips that will encounter the Catalan highlights by feet.

Catalonia Tour Guide - Mee T.

Spain

Hi all travellers, nice to know you here and hope we can meet in Barcelona. My name is My (you can call me Mee). I am from Vietnam and I have been living in Barcelona for 5 years. Although I am not a Spanish/Catalan guide, I have a different view about Barcelona & Spain, being an Asian/Vietnamese girl who has been working and travelling all around Spain. Nowadays, there are a lot of Digital nomads who would like to combine working and travelling at the same time. I can say that I am one of them. I have experience in living abroad (Vietnam, Spain & Portugal) and going through all the process of relocation to Barcelona so that I can share with you if you are interested in moving to Barcelona. Furthermore, I speak Vietnamese, English and Spanish fluently. I also speak a bit of Chinese, Portuguese, and Catalan. So if you love learning languages, we will be great partners. Last but not least, I can cook some Vietnamese-Spanish mixed food at home and offer you lunch during my tour (for reservation of at least 5-hour tour) What are you expecting more? Let me know.

Catalonia Tour Guide - Maica C.

Maica C.

Spain

Hello! I'm Maica, an enthusiast Barcelonian and in love with my city. Years ago, after completing my Hispanic University Studies, I moved to Scotland where I did a Msc in Applied Linguistics and worked as a tour guide for Spanish and Italian tourists. Seven years later I came back home. At first I taught Spanish to foreigners with my own methodology: using the street as a clasroom with lots of story telling techniques. It was doing so how I became a licensed tour guide, my passion. Now it's my full time job. I love it. It's extremely rewarding and it keeps me always busy exploring, reading and learning. As a licensed tour guide I have PREMIUM access, very convinient since when on holidays time is precious: we'll skip the lines in all monuments and museums!! Since you are the boss, I will design the best visit just for you. MY TOURS ARE TAILORED MADE depending on your time and interests, but to gain a feeling of local life, I'll make sure you won't miss some off the beaten-track sites . I'll be very happy to recommend, my main concern is to make you live unforgettable experiences. I'm very much used to dealing with all kinds of people and my explanations are very dynamic, instructive and a pleasure to the ears. I am very flexible and my tours are adapted either to shore excursions or private tours. I love to tour couples, friends, single visitors and, as a mother of a teenager, families as well. It will be a honor to accompany you while discovering all these treasures with which you will fall in love! Hope to meet you soon!
