Hello! I'm Maica, an enthusiast Barcelonian and in love with my city. Years ago, after completing my Hispanic University Studies, I moved to Scotland where I did a Msc in Applied Linguistics and worked as a tour guide for Spanish and Italian tourists. Seven years later I came back home. At first I taught Spanish to foreigners with my own methodology: using the street as a clasroom with lots of story telling techniques. It was doing so how I became a licensed tour guide, my passion. Now it's my full time job. I love it. It's extremely rewarding and it keeps me always busy exploring, reading and learning. As a licensed tour guide I have PREMIUM access, very convinient since when on holidays time is precious: we'll skip the lines in all monuments and museums!! Since you are the boss, I will design the best visit just for you. MY TOURS ARE TAILORED MADE depending on your time and interests, but to gain a feeling of local life, I'll make sure you won't miss some off the beaten-track sites . I'll be very happy to recommend, my main concern is to make you live unforgettable experiences. I'm very much used to dealing with all kinds of people and my explanations are very dynamic, instructive and a pleasure to the ears. I am very flexible and my tours are adapted either to shore excursions or private tours. I love to tour couples, friends, single visitors and, as a mother of a teenager, families as well.
