There is an indescribable charm about this town. That is why I am a proud official local guide of the beautiful City of the Three Cultures. The Jewish Quarter of Toledo is an important place regarding Sephardic culture in the Iberian Peninsula. - Synagogue "El Tránsito" or "Samuel Leví": it shows one of the most beautiful examples of Mudéjar style in Hispanic-Jewish legacy (closed on Mondays); - Synagogue of Saint Mary the White, formerly the main synagogue in Toledo; - Franciscan Monastery of Saint John of the Monarchs: it was created as the burial site of the Catholic Monarchs.
