French Basque coastline
On our private tour you will visit the famous French town of Biarritz, the pearl of the coast, where you will be delighted with the beauty of the city and glamorous life, the stunning architecture, the sightseeing and market. Do you want to know why it was considered the best summer beach for the aristocracy and wealthy people during the XIV century?
The second town on the tour we will be the fishermen town of Saint Jean de Luz, still on the French Basque side. This charming little village will make you love it once you see their food market, the cozy streets and talk to the humble people. Gather the locals and discover the history behind while the Pyrenees witness us.

Hondarribia
Lunch time, flexible to your taste, budget, time...no rush and after tasting local delicacies.
Continuing our way along the coast, we will stop to enjoy an easy walk in the town of Hondarribia, on the Basque Spanish side, the best preserved medieval town in the area where many battles happened. Walled town, lots of history, secrets, hidden parts along the narrow streets will be shown. Tip for the foodies, some of the best seafood, best pintxos and restaurants will be waiting for you on the the fishermen neighborhood.
We will head to San Sebastian on our drive up to Jaizkibel mountain, stopping at the highest point to see the best panoramic views of all the Basque French coastline before ending in the start point.
And of course, on this tour, considered one of the best drives along the coast, you will be not only enjoying the views, but stopping anywhere you want to take pictures, breathe the breeze of the sea or enjoy a coffee facing the ocean.

Born in San Sebastian, Basque Country, I’m an enthusiastic person who loves travelling and sharing my experiences with people.
I have visited over 60 countries and guided travellers for over 12 years.
After travelling around the world in my last big trip, during 14 months, I decided to set up this bussiness to offer the travellers an unique view of the Basque Country & Rioja and surroundings like a local.
I have a long experience guiding people along the Basque Country, specially around San Sebastian, Bilbao, Pamplona, Vitoria as well as the French-Basque Country and the famous Rioja Wine region.
As well as I travel abroad often, I love to work showing my city and surroundings, guiding people to the best places, not only to the touristic ones, but to the off-the-track ones too. Always adding some of my little stories and anecdotes of each place making the journey more enjoyable and unique.
Living in a place with a food-culture like us, it adds an extra value to my tours, being a member of a Gastronomy Club as I am (famous «sociedad gastronónica») in San Sebastian .

Our private tour of the Rioja wineries with our guide Daniel Gonzales was fantastic. The wineries selected were beautiful offering excellent wines with very generous tasting. Daniel was very knowledgeable of the Rioja region and wines in general. Daniel also provided some great restaurants to try in San Sebastián and Barcelona. His recommendations did NOT disappoint! The lunch provided with the tour was equally impressive. A truly traditional experience of local cuisine! The family had a great experience. Highly recommend this tour and ask for Daniel!
