“Perfect intro to Japan and Sendai”

I’ve been wanting to visit Japan for many years and finally made it happen. It can be a little overwhelming despite a strong desire to learn the culture. I decided to get a guide and found Mai. She’s from Sendai and helped expedite my learning and understanding of the culture and city so well. We started out on a cultural tour but as the day went on I wanted to see more izakayas and learn about the food. She’s very well-connected in the city. Mai was able to pivot on what I wanted so well. She understands and speaks English very well - I speak no Japanese - and can clearly articulate the history and culture of the city in a simple way for a beginner. It truly was a great experience. I would do another tour with Mai in Sendai! Thank you so much, it was great to meet you and come visit Chicago!

“Yamadera and More”

Mai was a wonderful guide, Yamadera was about as beautiful as I could've imagined and Mai was a huge part of that experience. Her knowledge of the area as well as her experience with the hiking trails around Yamadera made the tour one-of-a kind in the best way possible. For those who are looking to get into nature the area, I would strongly recommend Mai for the best experience possible. Thank you, Mai!
