“Sights and history of a coastal gem”

Michiko helped us get on the best footing to start our tour in Sendai, Japan by giving us a fabulous tour of the not to be missed Shiogama fish market, local cracker factory, the beautiful Shigama temple after a 220+ step climb with lots of cultural tips thrown in, awesome lunch that almost felt like a private dining experience, sake outlet visit plus a full-on Matshushima coastal tour. Gracious guide to a fault. Highly recommended.

“Sendai and beyond.”

My driver was Ohisa san. He was very friendly and patient even though we couldn’t speak English. He was accommodating and allowed for changes to the itinerary. He also went beyond the duties of a driver and helped us find restaurants and find souvenirs. Also taught us how to drink the soba broth at the end of the meal. I am very appreciative of Ohisa san
