Miyagi Tour Reviews

“Best tour of our Japan trip : a phenomenal JoJo / Morioh pilgrimage”
Best tour of our Japan trip - an unforgettable JoJo / Morioh pilgrimage This was, without question, the best tour of our entire trip to Japan. Eiji and his wife created an unforgettable day for my 17-year-old son and me, tracing the real-world Sendai locations connected to Morioh from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. They knew exactly how to make the city come alive for a JoJo fan - the Lawson stop, the hidden locations, the poses, the photos, the small details, and the feeling that we were genuinely walking through Josuke’s world. They also took us for mochi, which was a wonderful local touch and made the day feel personal rather than like a standard sightseeing tour. Eiji and his wife were warm, funny, thoughtful, and incredibly generous with their time. When I pressed Eiji to accept an extra tip, he politely declined - a true gentleman. I have honestly never had tour guides put so much care, energy, and enthusiasm into making a day special. My son absolutely loved it, and so did I. For any JoJo fan visiting Sendai, this is an essential experience. Phenomenal guides. Phenomenal day. Highest possible recommendation.

Hi, Peter and Oliver Thank you so much for the fantastic review! We are very flattered. We also had so much fun laughing together, and so happy that we could help you dive into Morioh town. As the saying goes, "A great audience makes a great show." The reason our tour became so exciting is all because of your willingness to learn about Japanese culture, to try local delicacies, and to strike a JoJo pose with no hesitation (this is very important!). Not to mention Oliver’s comprehensive knowledge about JoJo! I might need to prepare much deeper quizzes for my future tours. It was a real pleasure guiding you both. Wishing you a fantastic time for the rest of your trip in Osaka and Kyoto! And Oliver, Japan will be waiting for your visit next summer! :D

“History of Masamune Date and Great Experiences”
Akemi was fantastic and the tour is perfect for those who want to learn the history of Sendai while getting in on the shopping and food of the area while still having some time in the morning to do things. She showed me a number of restaurants to fill my trip and also showed me some local specialties which made the experience the best deal in town. Thank You, Akemi!

“A Fantastic Guide for a Local Experience ”
Akemi was a wonderful guide. She was always making sure the experience was tailored to suit my preferences for history and local experiences and was very knowledgeable about the Miyagi prefecture's specialties and local history and beyond. There were many times she would assist me in locating things beyond the tour to make my experience of the Tohoku region as easy and filled with experiences as possible. I look forward to coming back, and I strongly encourage others to book her tours! Thank You Akemi!
