About Tour Guide Hiroyuki H.
I'm Hiroyuki.
I was born in Osaka, central city in western Japan, and when I was college student, lived in Kyoto, previous capital of Japan, and now live in Tokyo, current capital.
I have worked for a global company for about 30 years. Working with international members gave me the opportunity to communicate with people with different cultures, and sometimes the opportunity to guide the spots of interest to them.
I found it interesting to show Japanese interesting spots to the guests, such as the wonderful things, strange things, mysterious things, marvelous things.
For the past few years, I tried to improve ability to communicate with people from abroad. Recently, Japanese history intrigued me.
I’m really into finding historical places, local favorites, and unique systems in Japan.
In the tour pages, I am introducing tours in Tokyo and tours in Kyoto and Osaka. I include the orthodox sightseeing places. However, you could also specify some unique local places. Information about local spots and local foods such as Ramen, Udon would be interesting to you. Please contact me and let’s talk about your itinerary specially made to order.

Guiding in Kyoto and Osaka area and surrounding places is possible. Please contact me if you want to have guide in such area without attention to my calendar. The available days for guiding depend on the location.

Osaka one day tour
Walking Shinsaibashi street and Dotonbori. This area is nice place to enjoy very Osakan things, colorful view and Osaka local food, etc. Umeda area consists of Business buildings, Shopping buildings, Railroad station, and very complicated underground streets. Osaka has a long history as a commercial city and has Castle. You could visit Castle or Museum to learn a little bit of developping history.
Wandering Kyoto Higashiyama
Starting from Ginkakuji, we walk along Tetsugakunomichi (philosopher's path) to Gion district. You will find Japanese beauty in the old Ginkakuji, Zen temple and garden in Nanzenji, Red light district, Gion.

Despite the bad conditions of heavy rain, you participated enthusiastically in the tour with an interest in the history related to Osaka Castle, the field of education when Western culture was introduced during the Meiji Restoration, and local restaurants in Osaka. “Very knowledgeable Guide”
Hiro was easy to converse with and his English was good. He took us to the Osaka Castle and his knowledge helped us to appreciate the history of this time. He listened to what we wanted and adjusted the day so that we could do the things which were of interest to us. We were very interested in the food specialties of Osaka so he took us to several great places to try Japanese cuisine. He planned the day well so that we could see all the highlights of Osaka. We don’t hesitate to recommend him.

“Osaka Castle, Shopping & Looking”
Enjoyed both the Shinsekai & Dotombori areas with Hiroyuki. The colors, signage and crowds made for sensory overload! Hiroyuki took us to Osaka Castle to the front of the line so we could access an elevator due to a disability. He was always conscious of where to find elevators and the best way to access sites. Thank you Hiroyuki.
