“Excellent Kyoto Experience with Kanae-san!”

We had a wonderful day exploring Kyoto with Kanae-san. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. The early start allowed us to visit some of Kyoto's most beautiful highlights before the crowds arrived, which made the day even more special. One of the highlights was the amazing local lunch she recommended and arranged for us! it was absolutely delicious and something we probably would not have discovered on our own. Kanae-san was attentive throughout the tour, shared interesting insights about Kyoto's history and culture, and made us feel very comfortable. “Wonderful Tour!”

Our family loved our Kyoto tour with Kanae! She is kind, very knowledgeable, and fun to spend time with. We appreciated some of the less touristy sites we would have never seen on our own. Great to let her do all the planning and driving! We saw so much in just a few hours. We highly recommend her!

“Highlight of our trip and most memorable experience ever!”

I can’t express how incredible my experience with our guide, Kanae, was during our private tour exploring my heritage in Japan. I am a sansei (third-generation Japanese American), and my family and I decided to splurge on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Japan. Kanae picked us up at our hotel in Kyoto and drove us to Shiga Prefecture, where we visited the castle ruins connected to my ancestors. She also helped interpret for me at the local historical museum and city hall. Kanae was so kind and generous with her time and knowledge, and she was incredibly easy to communicate with. She tailored our tour exactly to what I had dreamed of and went far beyond our expectations. Our full day with Kanae was the highlight of my trip. I will always be grateful to her for her kindness and for introducing me to the beauty and hospitality of Japan.
