“Koto lesson”
My koto lesson was one of the best moment I had during my trip. I had the lesson in a traditional home, and the sound of the koto is sensational. Harumi is a fantastic teacher, and I even received the sheet music for the traditional song "Sakura Sakura," which I played. At the end of the lesson, I also enjoyed another version of the song played by her. I was speechless! Highly recommended, this is an experience that will immerse you in Japanese tradition.

“Relaxing koto experience”
Getting to play the koto has been a definite highlight of our stay in Kyoto. No past experience is needed and Harumi makes it easy and fun. Harumi is clearly a highly accomplished koto musician. We walked away feeling great and having the lesson in a traditional house over 100 years old is another perk! Highly recommend!
