This tour covers 4 must-see sightseeing spots in Kyoto. Firstly, we visit Fushimi Inari Shrine. If you walk through in the countless Trii-gates in the late evening , you must be feeling getting into a mysterious world. Sanjyu-sangendo temple where you can see the magnificient main statue and one thousand life sized Kannon statues. Every people says " I'ts awesome !" "I am in a forest of Buddha!!" Kiyomizudera-temple is one of the most oldest and famous temples in Kyoto. About 4mllion tourists visit this temple every year ! Lastly, we visit Nijyo-jyo Castle where you can enjoy the finest architecture and artworks and Shogun's private life in the Edo period. them we head for Gion area or flower town . If you have a good chance, you can meet a Maiko-san or a Geisya-san walking around the town.

Nara is the most ancient city in Japan. You can see one of the most biggest images of Buddha in Japan called"Daibutu-san", and You also see many deer roaming freely around in Nara park. We visit Kasuga-Taisya Shrine ,founded to protect the Heijyokyo, which is also the deity of Fujiwara family is enshrined.

The huge Sanmon gate is one of the three biggest temple gates in Japan. You can also find a canal ,which build with Roman-style brick aqueduct in the the temple site. Eikando-temple is famous of its Mikaeri-Amida Statue and the garden. Eikando-garden is well known for its Autumnal leaves colored with red and yellow. esp. during late October to November.

“KYOTO All the Way”

Hiroshi was an excellent local guide with a great command of English. He went out of his way to ensure we were able to see 3 of the most renowned sites in Kyoto. He arranged to meet and return us to the cruise terminal at Osaka on what was quite a wet day and busy day - huge crowds everwhere. To save time and to not miss out on any of the sites we agreed to take a taxi a couple of times. I would not hesitate to recommend Hiroshi.

“Hiroshi (Hiro) is an amazing guide!”

Hiroshi (Hiro) accompanied my mother and I during our Kyoto segment. Hiroshi (Hiro) was highly accommodating, especially when we needed to modify our schedule due to my mother’s limited mobility. In short, Hiro was an exceptional guide and showed us Kyoto through the eyes of a local. We went to Fushimi Inari Shrine, Kinkaju-ji Temple, Sanjusangen-do, among other sites. Hiro was incredibly kind and patient, especially when my mother needed to rest. He is a retired school teacher and playing quiz bowl with him was highly entertaining. He has a lot of energy! We also enjoyed a tonkatsu lunch together, where we shared stories and learned more about each other. If I get the opportunity to visit Kyoto again, Hiro will be the first guide I contact! Thank you very much Hiro!

Dear Jimmy I'm very sorry I didn't reply sooner. I am very grateful to you for your great reviews on Feb 29 tour. I am very glad to hear from that both you and your mam did have an enjoyable tour in Kyoto. There are a lots of must-see sites in Kyoto.
