Hi, I'm Tokie.
I was born and grew up in Osaka, and I have lived in Osaka for 90% of my life. I like to show people around my city, not only famous sightseeing places but also local places where you can feel how real Osaka is.
I also travel a lot. I have traveled to Europe, South East Asia, North and Central America, and and so on. I always enjoy tours where I have a chance meet local people and enjoy an awesome experience. So I want to offer such tours here in Osaka !
My favorite
1. Local tours (Tenjin, Temma area is my specialized area)
2. Good food (sake as well. Local bar hopping tour is also available)
3. Cooking
4. Language and culture exchange (I can teach Japanese!)
5. Japanese calligraphy
6. Running (I have some marathon experiences.)
7. The beach (That's what I miss here in Osaka!)
Please contact me if you want to enjoy Osaka and Japan!
Currently I take care of my 1 year old boy and can work basically between 9 am - 5 pm, and might respond a bit slowly.
Thank you for understanding the situation.
“Fantastic day with Tokie”
Tokie is a very professional tour guide. We booked a private historical and modern Osaka Tour. Tokie responded very quickly and flexible to our wishes. She speaks excellent english and it is a pleasure to talk with her. She gave us a very good impression of life in Osaka. We will come back to Japan, it was the best vacation ever.. Thank you Tokie
“Great experience ”
Tokie was a lovely guide with great knowledge of the sites and the best food stalls in the market. Even though there is less to do in Osaka, knowledge of the best spots for photography etc made her tour worth while.
“Understanding and appreciating Osaka and Japan”
Tokyo T. is a smiling thoughtful guide, who adapted throughout our day to our wishes while maintaining the initial plan. She was helpful in explaining many points that we questioned due to our lack of knowledge. The result was a better understanding of Osaka and Japan. Her English was very easy to understand.
