“Japan Trip With Granddaughter”

Nahomi was exceptional in her communications with us prior to our trip and was flexible when we had to change our tour date and time to meet our last-minute itinerary changes. She met us at our hotel in Kamakura and was waiting in the lobby at the agreed upon meeting time. We had a great time exploring Kita-Kamakura over the next few hours as we visited the local temples, shrines, and gardens of the area. Nahomi was very flexible with adjusting her planned tour as we had already explored some of the local Kamakura sites on our own the day before our tour. Nahomi was exceptional in paying close attention to the interests of our 17 yeaar old granddaughter as we toured the area and pointed out several shopping attractions that were of special interest to our granddaughter. She even helped us book and board the train to Tokyo at the end of our tour, which was very helpful in getting us to our next hotel that evening. I would highly recommend Nahomi for you next visit to the Kamakura area.

I had a wonderful time as well, and I was so happy to share many different sides of the area with your family—from the peaceful atmosphere and lively energy of Kita-Kamakura during hydrangea season to the local food and unique shops. “Wonderful day in Kamakura with Nahomi!”

We enjoyed a wonderful day touring Kamakura with Nahomi! Nahomi communicated with us well in advance of our tours to determine our personal interests and hopes for our trip. She then created a custom itinerary for us so that we knew what to expect well in advance of arriving. When we expressed interest in hiking the Daibutsu Hiking Trail, she took time out from her own schedule to hike the trail in advance to make sure of the time and level of exertion involved. Hiking the trail was a highlight of our trip. She was able to provide us with fun and enjoyable details about the history, culture, and daily living of Kamakura and made sure we didn’t miss the important Shrines and Temples. We loved our time with Nahomi and highly recommend her without reservation.

“Enlightening Experience in Kamakura”

We had a wonderful small-group tour with Nahomi, who was friendly, outgoing, and highly knowledgeable. As a local guide, she has a deep understanding of Kamakura and expertly tailored our itinerary to include meaningful historical sites, as well as great spots for shopping. Given how much there is to see in Kamakura, she focused on historically significant temples like Engaku-ji and Kencho-ji, while steering us away from the main tourist crowds. The result felt like a private tour, with many moments where we had the sites almost entirely to ourselves. It truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
