Hi everybody! I'm Lia, a qualified tourist guide, operating in Veneto area since 2000. I l was born in Vicenza, where I live with my family. I really love my job because it gives me the opportunity to meet several people, coming from different countries and share with them the beauties of my territory.
I studied at the university Literature and Foreign Languages in Verona and then I obtained after some examinations the licence to guide groups of tourists in Veneto. Passion for art, history and Italian culture is my "mantra" and then years of work offered me wonderful life experiences.
The "magic word" for me is slow tourism: just relax and enjoy your time in my company!

Walking through Vicenza, "the city of palaces"
Walking tour along the main streets of Vicenza, where the famous architect Andrea Palladio left some of his masterpieces. An historical outlook, starting from Piazza Castello, important medieval entrance to the town: here we begin our tour, telling how Vicenza changed along the different historical periods and why today it is considered the city of Palladio. Across Corso Palladio and other topic streets, we reach the elegant Piazza dei Signori to close our tour in the amazing Olympic Theatre.

Full Day in Vicenza: from the town to villas
Full Day in Vicenza, city walking and by car tour: let's discover the city centre, visiting the topic monuments. After lunch, we move with my private Toyota Yaris in Monte Berico, the hill dominating the city. We reach the terrace of Piazza della Vittoria where we can admire the city from the top and a wonderful landscape. After a quick visit of the Sanctuary dedicated to Our Lady, we move towards one of the close villas: "Villa Capra Valmarana, named the Rotonda" or Villa Valmarana ai Nani.
