Meeting Point

Day 01 : Moshi to Marangu Gate (1,860m) to Mandara Hut (2,700m)
Meet your guide in Moshi and drive to Marangu Gate, the starting point of your trek.
Register at the gate, meet your porters, and begin your ascent through the lush rainforest.
Hike for about 3-4 hours to reach Mandara Hut, your first overnight stop.
Enjoy dinner and rest in the comfort of the hut.
Day 02 : Mandara Hut (2,700m) to Horombo Hut (3,720m)
After breakfast, continue your journey through the rainforest, then moorland and heath zones.
Trek for about 5-7 hours, passing by Maundi Crater for panoramic views.
Arrive at Horombo Hut, where you'll have dinner and stay the night.
Day 03 : Horombo Hut (3,720m) to Kibo Hut (4,703m)
After breakfast, ascend to the "Saddle" between Mawenzi and Kibo peaks.
Continue your trek for approximately 6-8 hours to reach Kibo Hut, your base camp for the summit attempt.
Rest, have an early dinner, and prepare for the summit push.
Day 04 : Kibo Hut (4,703m) to Uhuru Peak (5,895m) to Horombo Hut (3,720m)
Wake up very early (around midnight) to begin the final ascent to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa.
The trek to the summit takes around 6-8 hours, and you'll hike in darkness with headlamps.
Reach the summit in time for sunrise, celebrate your achievement, and take in breathtaking views.
Descend back to Kibo Hut for a short rest and meal, then continue down to Horombo Hut for a well-deserved night's sleep.
Day 05 : Horombo Hut (3,720m) to Marangu Gate (1,860m)
After breakfast, descend through the moorland and rainforest to Marangu Gate.
At the gate, you'll receive your summit certificates, a memento of your accomplishment.
Say farewell to your guides and porters and return to Moshi for a celebratory dinner and a good night's rest.
