This Tour aim at exploring and experiencing this less touristy town, with its historical sites like the Old Anglican church, Old korogwe During colonialism the Anglican mission (church) was built in this area in 1886 one also can come close the colonial masters building and old Asian merchants buildings the town serve as a terminal for the railway linking Arusha, Moshi, Tanga and Dar es salaam. Old Korogwe features colonial BOMA and the TANU memorial monuments.

I will pick you up from the hotel, have a briefing before starting a tour and after briefing the tour will start passing via Manundu village to Kwa Samangube the new emerging village to join the new korogwe town, meet the local people on the way see the old poles and interwoven sticks and mad house which soon are going to be replaced by more advanced houses as the town is growing in fast pace.
Possibly visit the local home and learn how to cook local food with local mamas.
Zumngnati Hill
Raised between Old Korogwe and New korogwe township at Manundu village, Zumngnat hill is raising about 1000m above sea level. The hill gained its name from Germany settler known us Zumngnat who was dealing with rubber cultivation on the slopes of the Usambara mountains, with variations of ecosystem and biodiversity on the trail will thrill the visitors hiking in the hill, this trail is designed to measure the strength of the visitors while enjoying the birds watching and view points to view the Korogwe town and the handeni Savannah.. luckily meet some monkeys and identify some plants. The hill is also a center of water collection for the Korogwe
Town dwellers as all the tanks for water supply is are inserted there.
Old Aglican church visit
A visit to Old Anglican church. During colonial period the Anglican mission built their first church on 1886. While here you can also see the colonial masters buildings and Old Asian merchants buildings.
The town also serve as a terminal for railways linking Dar es salaam, Tanga and
Kilimanjaro and Arusha.
Old korogwe features Colonial BOMA and TANU memorial monuments. TANU is an Old political party helped the country to gain its independence from colonial masters.(Currently is know as CCM).
Korogwe Gibril Park
The Gibril Park is open to everyone This park has a lawn and beautiful flowers and this is the Ideally place to view the river Pangani while relaxing. And possibly enjoy your packed lunch near the river while enjoying the view of the river and see some people doing some activities. Later proceed to the town for Market visit.
Korogwe colourful Market
Proceed with your korogwe town your here you will go around korogwe experience the town and the market, see how the local people are doing their business and possibly purchase some fruits to enjoy them on he way while hiking with your tour guide, do you know Korogwe is one of the bursting town in Tanga region and it is located on highway from Arusha/Kilimanjaro to Tanga and Dar es salaam with lots of things to experience.
After the market visit you will connect back to your hotel
