During the journey, the road was under construction, which made the transfer more difficult and added to the overall fatigue of the day. The temples visited are truly beautiful and impressive, both in terms of architecture and artistic details, and they are definitely worth seeing. The guide was knowledgeable and provided clear and interesting explanations, especially when prompted with questions, which added valuable cultural and historical context to the visit. With a more balanced pace and better road conditions, the experience could be even more comfortable. Still, it is a recommended tour for those who wish to see Chiang Rai’s main highlights in a single day.

“An enjoyable day at Lamphun”
Petch planned our itinerary after we told him our interests in textile. We had an enjoyable day in Lamphun visiting silk and cotton weaving communities. Petch's command of English is very good; but most of all he is a considerate and thoughtful guide. I strongly recommend his service.
