Come and explore 700-year-old Chiang Mai city, once capital to the ancient Lanna kingdom, home to many famous historical sites. First we’ll visit the famous Chiang Mai Umbrella village at Bo Sang before driving uphill to must see Wat Phra That Doi Suthep temple which overlooks the whole of Chiang Mai. Here you will be amazed by the golden stupa which is considered to be the most beautiful in the region. Complete the trip at the peaceful jungle temple with its pretty cascading waterfall.

Chiang Mai Old Quarter
Arrive at the ancient Thapae Gate, which is one of the city's most famous photo spots. After that a short drive to Wat Chedi Luang Temple, home to the 500-year-old giant stupa. Listen to its history and enjoy taking photos.
Wat Phra Singh Temple
Next we’ll move on to Wat Phra Singh Temple one of the most highly visited places of the old town. It houses the norths most revered Buddha statue, Phra Phuttha Sihing which is enshrined in Vihan Lai Kham, a chapel that features exquisite woodcarvings and northern style murals.
Bo Sang Umbrella Village
Arrive at the Bo Sang Umbrella Center where you will observe how locals produce the famous traditional Chiang Mai umbrella, then spend time to enjoy taking photos and possibly purchase some nice souvenirs.
Mee Na Mee Khao Restaurant
Lunch at a beautiful Chiang Mai old style restaurant.
Wat Phra That Doi Suthep Temple
Journey uphill on a windy mountain road to the most iconic place of Chiang Mai at Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. A mountain-high famous temple featuring a beautiful viewpoint where we will see the whole terrain of Chiang Mai. Wat Phra That Doi Suthep also houses the golden stupa, considered to be the most beautiful of Chiang Mai and the whole of the northern region.
Wat Pha Lad Jungle Temple
On the way down from Doi Suthep Temple we will visit the hidden Wat Pha Lat temple. This small ancient jungle temple presents a perfect blending of Lanna and Burmese arts. In rainy season the stupa will be overgrown by moss and fern, causing an amazing scene of how nature and culture come together. It is truly Chiang Mai's hidden paradise.

1.The tour includes the hilltop temple, make sure that you are OK for a winding road on the mountain.

WHAT TO BRING:
Besides temple dress, you should have comfortable shoes, camera, insect repellent and an open mind for amazing new experiences.
In the rainy season (July - October), rain jackets are definitely recommended.
Temple Dress Code: Men: Long pants or short pants down to knees covered and shits with sleevs cover shoulders Women: Pants, short pants or skirt down to knees and shoulders are covered. Sandals and scarves cover the shoulders are allowed.
