About Tour Guide Sedat C.
Merhaba(Turkish)
First of all, welcome to my profile. I don't want to keep it too long and bore you, as I believe my life story will be much more interesting the day we embark on a tour together :)
I was born in Kuwait and lived there for many years. After completing my education at an Indian school, my family and I permanently moved to Türkiye in 2003.
After completing high school and university in Turkiye, I began my career as a Police Officer. While working as a Tourism Police officer, I discovered my passion for traveling. In 2018, I took the initiative to resign and ventured into the path of becoming a Tourist Guide.
I have traveled to more than 15 countries and still love exploring. I believe traveling is the best investment one can make in themselves.
I am fluent in English and Arabic. I believe that living abroad and studying in a foreign school are crucial factors for communication with people of different languages, religions, and races.
Looking forward to meeting you on tours soon.
Best wishes,
Sedat

“A knowledgable and interesting guide”
Sedat took us (a group of four friends) on a tour of the old city and then to two of the Palaces. His knowledge of history is excellent and he tells stories well that bring it to life. He navigated our tours very well. He is a very interesting man and passionate about his job.

“Istanbul in the rain”
Despite the weather, we had a wonderful experience with Sedat. His knowledge of the city and its history is exceptional. His outgoing and friendly nature made us feel welcomed, comfortable and safe. His “connections” at the various attractions managed to get us out of the rain quicker than expected. Would recommend Sedat to anyone

Thank you very much Chris. Despite the rainy weather, the warmth of you both warmed my heart. You completed Turkey’s most challenging tour despite the harsh weather conditions, and that is truly commendable. You are both true adventurers.
