I come to pick you up from cruise ship or hotel lobby or airport
First we visit Blue Mosque before other paces because they might close the mosque when it is pray time
Before we go to Topkapi Palace we will visit Hagia Sophia before the pray time. Because mosques get close when it is pray time
Topkapi Palace is founded in a 700.000 metre square area. It is very big. You pass from one courtyard to another. Each courtyard has different exhibitions. It takes longer than the other places we visit.
We give a small break to get refreshments or some snack or meal in one of the local restaurants. I will ask you what you would prefer, depends on your choice we can go somewhere around the Grand Bazaar
After Lunch we walk to underground cistern, its on the way to Grand Bazaar
Grand Bazaar is very big with more than 3000 shops with many different exits which go out to different districts. We might walk inside or go out walk around it.

Topkapi Palace is closed every Tuesday, instead we visit Suleymaniye Mosque. Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia are closed till 2:30 on fridays. For visiting a mosque you need something to cover hair and shoulders and your legs should be covered at least lower than your knees. They don't allow leggings or any type of trousers that shows your body shape. If you dont have a proper clothing, you have to purchase a cover at the enterence

My name is Dilek, a national - licensed tour guide. I am 42 years old and have been guiding for 14 years. My husband is from Mexico and with our two young kids we live in Istanbul. When I don't work I spend most of my time outdoor with my family, enjoy istanbul as much as we can.
I am qualified in the knowledge of Turkish history, mythology, archaeology, history of religion and history of art. I speak English and Spanish. Following my university graduation, I lived in England for 5 years where I continued my education studying Travel and Tourism at Greenwich School of Management.
