Hello, my name is Daniel . I am a Fully Qualified London Taxi Tour guide. Myself & my family were born & brought up in London, I have always had a fascination of the city I live in, so in 2013 I decided to study the knowledge of London to become a London Taxi driver. After intensely learning the many roads and hidden streets and after 4 years of studying, I became a London Taxi driver. I soon realised whilst driving passengers in my cab, that customers would ask many questions about statues, landmarks and historical buildings. Which at the time I never knew the answer, only the street name I was driving on and where I was driving too. So, 3 years ago, I took it upon myself to start reading up on the history of London. The more and more books I read on the different points of history, people and places, my love for London grew even more stronger. In 2020, I discovered the Official London tour guide course and decided to complete this as soon as possible. I am happy to say I obtained this badge during one of the most difficult years, in the global pandemic. I hope to share with you my knowledge and experiences of historic London.

Here's a little more information about myself. I'm a born and bred Londoner and have lived and worked within this great city for the majority of my life (the exception being a 4-year stint in Switzerland). Previously working within Royal Mail followed by the Global Foreign Exchange Markets. I am now a fully qualified London 'Cabbie', qualified taxi guide, and offer private and personal tours of London and beyond in an ICONIC London black cab (not just any London Black Cab but the new Zero Emission Capable Electric Cab), neither of which I ever thought I would be doing, but I can wholeheartedly say two of the best decisions I have possibly made in my working life. Firstly becoming a 'London Cabbie' gave me the new challenge and freedom I needed and then from there getting involved in offering tours, I honestly fell in love with my hometown again whilst doing the knowledge, and showing the sights of this fantastic city and creating wonderful memories on my tours is hard to beat. My aim is to give YOU the tour that YOU want when YOU want, always keeping in mind that it is YOUR vacation and YOUR memories, and to show you the history of London (and beyond), both the famous and lesser-known sites in a fun and relaxed manner. Please take your time looking at what is available in the tour section, but always remembering that my aim is to tailor each tour to YOUR own needs and requests. Remember it's . . . YOUR time, YOUR tour, YOUR memories! Licensed London Taxi Driver, having completed "The Knowledge of London" Qualified London Taxi Guide (accredited by the City University) I do not hold a Blue Badge so I can accompany you inside the Tower of London, St. Paul's Cathedral and Westminster Abbey but sadly I cannot guide inside these historical sites.

“Exploring Bath with Simon”

This was our first trip to Bath and we wanted to make sure we didn't miss any of the secrets. Simon was great in communicating with us in discussing times, options, meeting points and advice for things to do outside his tour. We discussed opportunities to extend the 2 hour tour to make sure nothing was missed and Simon left extra time available for us so he could further detail the history behind the amazing sights. Simon was a pleasure to work with. Was so knowledgeable and informative. This was by no means a rehearsed tour. Simon encouraged conversation and kept us engaged. We enjoyed every minute with Simon and would not hesitate to highly recommend him if you want a nice walk and an informative deep dive in to the history of Bath. When we return to UK we would love to have Simon show us the Cotswolds. We feel like we made a dear friend in Simon and the time he spent with us surpassed our expectations.
