I am a lawyer, historian and official City of London and Westminster tour guide. Introducing guests to the splendours and secrets of my hometown is my passion. Hello, my name is Daniel . I am a Fully Qualified London Taxi Tour guide. Myself & my family were born & brought up in London, I have always had a fascination of the city I live in, so in 2013 I decided to study the knowledge of London to become a London Taxi driver. After intensely learning the many roads and hidden streets and after 4 years of studying, I became a London Taxi driver. I soon realised whilst driving passengers in my cab, that customers would ask many questions about statues, landmarks and historical buildings. Which at the time I never knew the answer, only the street name I was driving on and where I was driving too. So, 3 years ago, I took it upon myself to start reading up on the history of London. The more and more books I read on the different points of history, people and places, my love for London grew even more stronger. In 2020, I discovered the Official London tour guide course and decided to complete this as soon as possible. I am happy to say I obtained this badge during one of the most difficult years, in the global pandemic. I hope to share with you my knowledge and experiences of historic London.

Before qualifying as a tour guide Dick taught in Cambridge and nearby Suffolk. He has played and coached rugby locally and internationally. Dick was coach of the Cambridge University Rugby team, “The Blues”, from 2001 to 2010 helping them to beat Oxford, ‘the other place,’ six times. I am a fully-qualified Blue Badge guide with experience all around Scotland. If your guests want to find out all about Edinburgh and Scotland then I am the guide you need. I am proud of Scotland and its history and wear the kilt when I can! I have also lived in Spain and Italy and guide in Italian too, I have had a number of different work and cultural experiences and I also currently work as a teacher - teaching English to foreign students and I have met and enjoyed teaching English to a number of Japanese students too! I have a wide range of interests with my knowledge of the history of Scotland being my top passion, with perhaps the Jacobite struggle being my favourite period.
