I dived into a history of people who lived and shaped London. Turns out, they also lied, made mistakes and were very, very randy. London was shaped by scandals, and I found the best ones to tell you. I am a qualified London tour guide and a storyteller who is ready to take you around from the iconic landmarks of London to hidden alleyways and streets off the beaten path.

Hello, my name is Daniel . I am a Fully Qualified London Taxi Tour guide. Myself & my family were born & brought up in London, I have always had a fascination of the city I live in, so in 2013 I decided to study the knowledge of London to become a London Taxi driver. After intensely learning the many roads and hidden streets and after 4 years of studying, I became a London Taxi driver. I soon realised whilst driving passengers in my cab, that customers would ask many questions about statues, landmarks and historical buildings. Which at the time I never knew the answer, only the street name I was driving on and where I was driving too. So, 3 years ago, I took it upon myself to start reading up on the history of London. The more and more books I read on the different points of history, people and places, my love for London grew even more stronger. In 2020, I discovered the Official London tour guide course and decided to complete this as soon as possible. I am happy to say I obtained this badge during one of the most difficult years, in the global pandemic. I hope to share with you my knowledge and experiences of historic London.

I'm a born and bred Londoner and have lived and worked within this great city for the majority of my life (the exception being a 4-year stint in Switzerland). Previously working within Royal Mail followed by the Global Foreign Exchange Markets. I am now a fully qualified London 'Cabbie', qualified taxi guide, and offer private and personal tours of London and beyond in an ICONIC London black cab (not just any London Black Cab but the new Zero Emission Capable Electric Cab), neither of which I ever thought I would be doing, but I can wholeheartedly say two of the best decisions I have possibly made in my working life. Firstly becoming a 'London Cabbie' gave me the new challenge and freedom I needed and then from there getting involved in offering tours, I honestly fell in love with my hometown again whilst doing the knowledge, and showing the sights of this fantastic city and creating wonderful memories on my tours is hard to beat. My aim is to give YOU the tour that YOU want when YOU want, always keeping in mind that it is YOUR vacation and YOUR memories, and to show you the history of London (and beyond), both the famous and lesser-known sites in a fun and relaxed manner. “Outstanding guided tour of London with Caroline ”

Caroline has a passion for guiding her guests and this shone through every step of the way. We were a family of 7 coming in from the US on a delayed flight and she went above and beyond to help us arrive and find her. The tour itself was brilliant and as a history buff I learned a lot but I was thrilled on how she engaged with my young children and in laws. She is truly a wonderful person

“Beautiful Day in London! ”
