My love story with Buenos Aires began in 2015, when I visited for the first time. Its ecclectic architectural beauty captured my heart. Then the culture: 189 museums in the city, or Corrientes, a street with more theaters than Broadway! The porteños with their friendliness, their gestures, their wonderful accent. This all made me return time and time again, every single year, until 2021, when my dream of moving here became a reality. I’m currently working towards my degree to become an “Official Tour Guide for the City of Buenos Aires” sponsored by the Government of Buenos Aires. I decided to do this out of my love for the city and my love of showing folks around and discussing Argentinian identity, history, architecture and just fun BA facts and gossip! I’m Chilean (raised in the US) so I speak perfect English and Spanish, I’m an EFL teacher, a published author, a coffee connosieur and I’m also really nice! I hope to show you around!

“Best tour guide in Buenos Aries”
Paola picked us up at our hotel by the airport before our pick-up time and gave is an outstanding tour of her beautiful city. Her historical knowledge was fantastic and she communicated it effectively. We walked the downtown area learning about how the city came to be, visited the BA Metropolitan Cathedral and had coffee and sweets outside by the square. The tour was equal time driving and walking. The Recoleta cemetery was fantastic. We had lunch of empanadas and fried cheese in a typical restaurant in La Boca - Caminito. An absolutely enjoyable experience, Paola will make your day.

We had an absolutely fantastic time with Paola and her vibrant city tour of Buenos Aires! She arrived promptly at our Airbnb, ready to whisk us away on an adventure through the city's most captivating spots. Her deep historical knowledge and fascinating local insights truly brought the city to life for us. After exploring several landmarks, we enjoyed lunch at a restaurant in the colorful, bustling Boca area. While a less touristy spot might have been fun, the food was undeniably delicious. From there, Paola guided us through the harbor area, then on to the lively neighborhood of Palermo, before ending the tour with a memorable visit to the iconic Recoleta Cemetery. It was an incredible day filled with discovery and lasting impressions!

Paola is easy-going, approachable and so knowledgeable. The best part about our experience was that her pace and delivery worked magic to keep our girls, 10 and 12 years old, engaged and curious to learn more.
