You can either leave the hotel early in the morning or choose your preferable timing but our recommendation is to try and see the temple as early as possible when the magic happens.
Beng Mealea Temple
This is a temple located about 60km away from downtown so to get there will take us bout 1 hour by car. so if you wish to see the temple in a quiet and magical way we should go a bit early.
We will be seeing the most spectacular ruin of this 12-century temple and walk along the great ruin way into the temple as it will make you feel like you are inside the Indiana Jone Territory.
Lunch time
We will have a lunch break after visiting Beng Mealea Temple.
Kompong Plhuk Village (Tonle Sap Lake)
Along the way back we will continue visiting the stilts houses village where you will experience the daily lives of the local people who live on the bank of this great lake (Tonle Sap lake) and Kompong Plouk Village. We will also check out the local market on the way there and take some photos of the local way of life in this less crowded village and learn about their daily activities on this largest freshwater Lake in Southeast Asia. Let me show you the hidden ruin unrestored temple and this amazing local way of life and bring back so much memory about Cambodia.
