The route starts with the three main halls +the three inner palaces at the back+the six western palaces to the west +the Imperial Garden at the back,exit from the north gate.

Situated on Beijing's central axis, directly north of the Forbidden City, Jingshan Park is a historic imperial garden dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties. The hill at its core is an artificial mound created from the soil excavated while building the moat surrounding the Palace Museum.

At the highest peak sits Wanchun Pavilion (Pavilion of Everlasting Spring), widely celebrated as the finest vantage point in Beijing.
