It is a 6 hours’s pure hiking tour around the West Lake and in the old city downtown. The route is perfectly designed so that you can experience Hangzhou city’s beauty, tradition and authentic local life without distance just in one day.

Your hotel.

- I will accompany you from your hotel to the starting point of the hiking route. Taxi is preferred for this part of transportation. Metro or bus can also be used but the time spent will be longer, so 1 or 2 attractions might need to be skipped.

In this hiking tour, you will:

* hike along beautiful trails of the West Lake

* climb a historic pagoda

* visiting a tranquil Buddhist temple.

* visiting an ancient Chinese style walking street.

* try authentic local food in a food street.

* visiting an old style market street to experience local people’s life

* climb a pavilion on top of a hill to overview whole Hangzhou city and the West Lake

Hangzhou, know as “Paradise on Earth”, with the poetic West Lake, is the most beautiful major city in China. It has a very long history of more than 2000 years, once being the capital of ancient China. Hangzhou is also a modern metropolis with amazing city views. It is a paradise for shopping and dining.
