Meeting Point
Pile Gate

Fort Lovrijenac & Dubrovnik West Harbour
We kick off the tour by climbing the monumental Fort Lovrijenac, iconic for its role as the Red Keep. Afterwards, we descend to the scenic West Harbour, famously known as Blackwater Bay.
Enjoy breathtaking views from the fortress, hear stories of Ragusan defense strategies, and discover some of the most memorable Game of Thrones scenes filmed here—including Joffrey’s name-day tournament, Cersei’s emotional farewell to Myrcella, and Jon Snow’s farewell to the Stark family. From this vantage point, we’ll also look out over the setting of the infamous Purple Wedding, where Joffrey met his end while celebrating with Margaery Tyrell.
Old town
We will walk through the city gates into the Old Town, where real-life medieval history meets fantasy drama. We’ll discover the site of the dramatic King’s Landing riot against Joffrey, then learn about the history of Dubrovnik’s 15th-century orphanage, drawing a fascinating contrast between the city’s real-life care for abandoned children and the stories of Jon Snow and the tragic fate of Robert Baratheon’s bastards in Westeros.
Green market and Walk of Shame
We will stroll along a lively street lined with local souvenir shops toward the bustling open-air market, where you’ll have the chance to sample traditional Dubrovnik sweets before continuing to the iconic Jesuit Stairs.
At the Jesuit Stairs, we’ll stand at the exact spot where Cersei Lannister began her infamous “Walk of Shame,” while discovering the story of the devastating 1667 earthquake that reshaped Dubrovnik and gave rise to much of its magnificent Baroque architecture.
Dubrovnik Cathedral, Rector's Palace & Church of St. Blaise
We will finish the tour in the monumental heart of the Old Town.
We will marvel at the grand Rector’s Palace, featured as the Spice King’s Palace in Qarth, and discover the filming locations where Daenerys unleashed her fury on King’s Landing. We’ll also explore Dubrovnik’s golden age of trade and diplomacy before wrapping up at Luža Square, beneath the statue of St. Blaise, the city’s beloved patron saint.
End of the tour
We’ll finish on Dubrovnik’s main street, Stradun, surrounded by plenty of options for shopping, cafés, restaurants, and souvenir shops, with the chance to sit on a replica of the Iron Throne and take the perfect Game of Thrones photo.

- Admission to St. Lawrence Fortress (15,00 eur/pax) is not included in the tour price. However, if you have a valid Dubrovnik Pass or a ticket for the City Walls, admission to the fortress is included, so you can enter without paying an additional fee.

- This tour involves a lot of walking, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and a bottle of water.
- Not wheelchair accessible.
- A Note for Non-Watchers: If terms like Red Keep, Blackwater Bay, or Walk of Shame mean nothing to you, you might feel a bit like Jon Snow—knowing nothing! While you don’t need to be a Game of Thrones expert to enjoy the tour, having watched the series will definitely make the experience even more fun and engaging.

“Ana is the best!”
We had a lovely tour with Ana. She is a bubbly and happy person and we had lots of fun, chatting and sharing stories while we toured. In addition to enlightening us about Jewish history and showing us the sights, she gave us the historical context of the region and a short history of Dubrovnik which helped us understand how everything fit together. Ana has extensive knowledge and a strong personal interest in local Jewish history. We are not great walkers, so Ana took the tour at our pace with rest stops en route. Overall we had a lovely time and wouldn't hesitate to recommend and felt this tour was great value.

“Incredibly knowledgeable and fun! ”
Ana was the best tour guide! She was friendly, personable, knowledgeable and accommodating with my mobility needs. I have multiple sclerosis and was terrified I would not be able to get to see the old town. She sat with us at a restaurant when I needed to sit and even helped us pick souvenirs and explained why we needed to pick certain local items. She did all of this while telling us about the history. “Unlock the magic of Dubrovnik”
Ana met us at a central and easy-to-find location. We had wonderful walk through the old town after first taking the cable car to a fantastic overlook (Ana said it was easier to do the cable car first as the rest of the tour would then be a downhill walk--great suggestion). Our pace was perfect and Ana was very engaging. We learned so much! We booked this trip as part of a cruise stop and there is no comparison between the cruise offerings and Ana's personal touch.
