Meeting Point

Amerling fountain - next to Dubravka restaurant (outside of Pile gate)

Pile Bay (Blackwaterbay)

Beautiful Blackwater Bay with turquoise green sea was one of the most iconic spots in Dubrovnik where HBO had been filming. You will get to see where did Marcela go and the place where John had to bend the knee before leaving Kings Landing. Also you will have time to take pictures - I can help with that! :)

Red Keep (Lovrjenac)

On the way to the Fort Lovrjenac we will have to climb approx. 200 stairs, but don't worry it's definitely worth it! We will also take a short break so I can share with you all the BEHIND THE SCENES gossip about the actors and crew. When you get there you will see iconic spots where Cercei and Joffrey were filming and many more. Also in this place will be a restroom (toilette) break and free time.

Old Town

You are going to see King's Landing entrance and the place where lovely king Joffrey got attacked! Also you will get to see some other scenes from different movies filmed in the Old Town.

Walk of shame stairs

SHAME SHAME SHAME! Inside the Old town - the most popular stairs! Jezuit stairs were used for iconic shame scene. You will hear all the details about filming this one and how the local people were coping with it. You may grab shame cocktail on the way... and bring the bell!

City of Quarth

Dubrovnik was not only the location for Kings Landing, but also for City of Quarth. You will see the place where mother of dragons was trying to get ships for her army to sail away from Quarth.

IRON THRONE photo

You can't leave Kings Landing without sitting on the Iron Throne! At this point you will get to sit on the Throne and take you picture for free.

THINGS TO NOTE:

Entrance fee to Red Keep (Lovrjenac fort) is not included (15euros per person).

This tour involves a lot of walking so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and to bring bottle of water with you.

RECOMMENDATION:

Buy Dubrovnik Pass which will save you up to 50% of price! If you have done the City Walls keep your ticket because it gives you free entrance to the fort Lovrjenac (Red Keep)!

You can request any time for the private tours.

About Tour Guide Mihaela D.

Hello everybody!

My name is Mihaela and I am a local certified tour guide for Dubrovnik county. Dubrovnik is my hometown and I am a big history lover. I have a master degree in Public Relations and have studied history, philosophy and media. Well I really like talking ;)! My whole life I've been working in tourism. I really enjoy in meeting new people and their culture. As somebody who studied history and have been living in Dubrovnik I am more than happy to share my knowledge and local insights with you. Currently I am a PHD student for information and communication science! I have also worked as an assistant on University of Dubrovnik (I guess I just like explaining things to people!).

Also as a big fan of Game of Thrones I will take you through the streets of King's Landing and share with you all the behind the scenes details. I will offer you different kind of tours so you can pick history, Game of Thrones, panorama sighseeing or just mix all together! My wokring experience is covering Dubrovnik county reagion so with me you can visit anything you want.

Well.. I consider myself as a bookworm :)! In my freetime I love to read books, travel around the world and spend time with my family, friends and ofcourse my baby cat Čombo :). And I love spending time by watching my favourite TV shows ofcourse.

What is the most important thing for me is that I want you to feel like home when you come in Dubrovnik. I dont see my tourists as clients, I see you as my friends who I havent seen in a while!

“Excellent private Tour!”

We booked the Game of Thrones Tour with Mihaela for 7 people. Not all of us were fans of the show, but it was interesting how the CGI used added to the buildings we saw. We also got a lot of history about the area and the buildings we were seeing that was not GOT related. We all really enjoyed the tour - ages 25 to 75. Highly recommend!
