Being a native from Villefranche-sur-Mer, located between Nice and Monaco and facing the world-famous Cap Ferrat, I grew up in the heart of the French Riviera. I loved going to see the festivities of the Nice Carnaval in February like the Menton lemon festival, the Monaco palace with its guards and its Cousteau Oceanic museum, the luxury cars of Monte-Carlo were something special for me because my father was a professional sports car mechanic who participated in the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix for more than 10 years. We were also lucky in May to enjoy the Cannes Film Festival and meet film actors and actresses or French televisions celebrities walking on the Boulevard de La Croisette. Every time I mention my first job outside of Nice, outside of France, I always have the same answer full of surprises " how did you end up in Idaho...?" Well, back in Feb. 2002, during the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics, I had the great opportunity to work for two years at the famous Sun Valley Ski Resort as a restaurant and banquet manager. I enjoyed every opportunity to visit most of the West Side and have fond memories of it because it was so different from my hometown French Riviera and also another exclusive, "rich and famous" place to experience. Back in Nice, back in school to be certified as a licensed lecturer-guide, i now take every opportunity to show my clients my area as a local and make sure they feel at home, throughout their stay. “2 days with Ana”
We used Anna for two separate tours during our trip, and we’re so glad we did. On our first day, we explored Nice, Èze, and Monaco — and there's no way we could have covered so much ground on our own. I’ve traveled extensively, and I can honestly say Anna is one of the best guides I’ve ever had — truly exceptional. She is a consummate professional and did a fantastic job understanding the dynamic of our family of four. She was especially great with my teenage daughters, making the experience both fun and engaging for them. One thing that really stood out: we never once had to ask her to take a photo. She instinctively knew all the best spots and always offered to capture the moment — a small gesture that made a big impact. Her English is excellent, and communication was effortless.
