Meeting Point

- We will talk on the phone and I will pick you up with my car at the main entrance of your Hotel
Drive along the Danube
We will drive next to the Danube river on both sides so you can soak in the atmosphere of the illuminated buildings.
Heroes Square at night
See a complete different side of the memorial as the orange lights paint a mysterious atmosphere around it. We will park nearby and and walk up to the monument, where I can tell you about its story.
Vajdahunyad Castle
This enchanting castle truly comes alive at night. The architecture is just simply stunning at this time of the day. We will stroll through the castle and I can tell you about its History.
Walk through the Jewish Quarter
The jewish Quarter becomes a bustling Party place at night. So many pubs and bars are full of life. A complete contrast to the daytime. Experience, the hustling and Bustling of the City.
Ruin Bars/Steampunk bars
Is there more to say, than the title? If you wish so I can take you to some of these places to have a nice beer and set the mood for the night :)
Andrássy Avenue
Or trip will also take us through the Andrássy Avenue, where you can see a lots of Diplomatic buildings and also places like the Opera house and the house of Balett.
Parliament at night & Shoes on the Danube
I will park close to the Parliament and we can walk up to it. You can Marvel at this illuminated Wonder up close. I will tell you everything there is to know about this place. After that we walk down to the Danube, where I can show you and also explain the Shoes on the Danube
Citadell (or some Vantage point)
I will take you up to the Citadell, where you can see one of the best views of the City at night with all of its illuminated bridges.
If there are some Constructions work going on there (which is quite frequent at the moment) , then I will take you to an alternative vantage point to see the
marvellous sight.
Ending Point
I drop you off back at your Hotel

Tour Important Information
For this tour we need to have complete darkness. Which means around 17:00 at winter time or 20:00 in the Summer season. If you book this tour we will adjust the starting time accordingly.
This tour takes place mostly in my private car, with smaller walks(VW touran 2008 with leather seats and seat heating).
The tour is also compatible with travelers, who don't have the greates walking capabilities.

About Tour Guide Viktor K.
The two biggest problems in my life are, that I was born too soon to become a space-cowboy and too late to become a roman legionary soldier. Since Tour guiding was the closest profession to both of these above mentioned things, I became one.
Although I finished the university as a communications expert and journalist in Hungary, it seems they did not prefer my honesty, so I didn't have too many prospects in that field. Without a clue of what to do next, I embarked on a journey to find some answers. I soon found my ambition in Tour-guiding and ended up working on a cruise ship, then as a freelancer tour-guide, and then as an adventure tour-guide in Norway.
I've been working in the tourism industry since 2012 and ever since, it''was my dream to create an authentic company of my own and to show the beautiful things of my home country.
My travels took me to more then 40+ countries. [And I still have both of my kidneys]
Sadly during my journeys, I have discovered that out of 100 companies 99 are simply tourist traps, who scam their customers with some fake "experience". But I also saw, that the authentic and quality tour operators are the longest lasting companies with 20+ years. I aspire to become like that 1 in 100 companies. I believe in win-win situations.
I'm a social guy. I like to be around people and to show them around. I like to have deep and honest conversations about things and I love to meet some truly amazing guests. There is nothing that you cannot talk about with me. I like this job so much, that I would even do this job for free, but since I cannot buy food with respect, love, or honesty, I do need something more tangible.
