Lotus Temple
- If you cannot make your own way to this meeting point, we can mutually create a hotel pick-up plan if you wish. Let's discuss where to meet and timings depending on your place of stay through message.
Lotus Temple
We begin our tour by visiting auspicious and Bahá’í House of Worship, popularly known as the Lotus Temple. Like eight Houses of Worship around the world, this magnificent structure stands for the principle of the oneness of humankind. The Temple gives the impression of a half-open lotus flower, afloat, surrounded by its leaves. The lotus, as seen from outside, has three sets of leaves or petals, all of which are made out of thin concrete shells.
Dilli Haat
Dilli Haat reflects India’s folk and rural heritage. An open space market, it has crafts persons putting up their goods from each state of India with India’s artistic and culinary treasures spread around. In season, there are surprise cultural performances from folk artists of India.
We have lunch amidst choice of various cuisines available from across India. Then shopping can begin with best choices of craft, clothing and other items that are made available by the crafts persons.
