Full Day Tour of Global Vipasana Buddhist Pagoda
This landmark icon , also called as 8th wonder of Maharahtra is an architectural wonder located along two sea fronts Manorie and Gorai Beach , which offers a spiritual offering in Buddhist way to its visitors. The visitors breath spiritual air enriched with the sacret chants of Buddha as they move around the Shrine managed by Vipasana Research Institute ,which conducts 10 day residential programme to meditation learners in 108 centers across globe free of cost including Mumbai center .
Meeting Point
At Your Hotel
The Tour begins at hotel in North West Mumbai near Airport .
The pagoda is in North West of Mumbai and is an excursion . We will proceed to one of the two Ferry Boat points by car .We will spent 2 hours in Pagoda where you can meditate in two meditation halls .
We proceed to Pagoda .
It takes 1 hour to reach to reach ferry point . We will board the first available ferry thereafter . The ferry ride is 20 Mins approximately one way .
We Board the ferry boat to Pagoda .
the ferry boat ride is around 20 - 25 Mins .
We reach the other end of the jetty .
After we reach the other end we need to walk 15 mins to reach the Shrine
we reach the shrine to experience highest level of extraordinary ambience comprising of Buddhist thoughts and architecture .
You visit the shrine that has dome to accomodate 10,000 people . You also visit the two small meditation halls for the visitors who can participate in meditation session lasting 15 minutes .You also visit the Museum gallery where you learn about the life of Buddha . There are gardens and temples and beautiful sculptures depicting Buddhist Art and a cefetaria where you enjoy Indian Meal cooked with blessings of Buddha .
We process back to Jetty and reach by 2:20 PM
We take the first available ferry to come back to city . The ferries plies at an interval of 30 Mins .
We reach the Mumbai end of the Jetty and return to Hotel by car .

The tour cost Includes Professional Fees for the guide . There is no entry as on now for the Pagoda .
The transporation expenses are expected to be taken care by the Guests .
Tour Important Information
The tourists are adviced to carry their passport as they enter the Shrine . There is no ticket to enter the Pagoda . However there is entry ticket to enter the Museum It is a religious premises offering supermundane experience .Spiritual inclination is expected from the guest , which will be automatically induced once you enter the Shrine .
The shrine has a Community Kitchen which offers Vegetarian Meals on Paid basis .
