About Tour Guide Eva G.
Hi, I'm Eva! I've been living in Florence since 2012 and I've become a professional licensed tour guide in 2016, since then I did a lot of private tours around Florence and in Tuscany, working with families and small groups of friends.
I'm still very curious and constantly learning new things about local history and artists, and Florence always gives you an opportunity to discover something interesting.
I'm in love with my city and I live quite an active life, so I can tell you a lot of things not only about history, but also about modern life of Florence.
During pandemic period I have finished the Wine Courses, so now I'm also professional sommelier, working in wine industry, and I can share my experience with you. We also have a nice wine cellar in the city center, where you can join one of our wine-tasting evenings.
My concept of exploring Italy is doing it with taste and style. So during our tour we will have no rush and you will have an opportunity to really enjoy Italian style of life.
Yes, I give a lot of historical information, but I'm very flexible and I always put your needs and wishes at the first place. So every tour is adopted to the client's preferences.

“Великолепный тур”
В туре по городу с Евой мы узнали историю и тайны очаровательной Флоренции, прогулялись по улочкам и площадям, узнали детали семьи Медичи, их виллу и семейную церковь. Нам очень было приятно общаться с Евой, было очень легко и не напряженно для нашей большой компании с детьми. Спасибо!

“Eva G. Is an excellent guide”
Eva toured us through Florence and was excellent! Eva is attractive and personable; we all enjoyed being with her, especially our teenage granddaughters. She is so knowledgeable, highly educated in Tuscan history, and her English is easy to understand. We have seen Florence before, but she is the first guide to show us the Roman stone with grapestomping and shipping , which is reused on the side wall of the Duomo. We saw Santa Croce, Piazza Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, the Loggia Medici, some gift shops we were interested in, a wonderful old restaurant Eva knew about, the Accademia, and finally, after spending longer than we had arranged for, Eva delivered us to the Uffizi Galleries. She was well-prepared, with lots of old pictures of areas on an ipad to illustrate the changes in Florence and its city plan. Eva is a fine guide whose tours would benefit anyone.

“amazingly attentive and informative!”
Eva bent over backwards to be accommodating, helpful and considerate to our tour group of 8 (ranging from 7 to 75 years old). She made all of the arrangements beforehand for transportation, found us a great spot for lunch, and chose perfect spots for us to see in Siena and San Gimignano. She had tons of insights and knowledge about the places and things we were seeing, was flexible when people wanted to stop to shop or take photos, and was compassionate about the pace in the heat and sun. I would recommend using Eva to everyone I know without hesitation or reservation!

The David Experience
The story of David would inspire many sculptures and paintings during the Italian Renaissance, with Christian themes being prevalent within art at this time. It would be the specific tale of David overcoming Goliath that would be featured most often, as artists looked to harness this powerful tale as inspiration for their own work. Even just within this single art movement, there would be many different interpretations, and each generation would influence the next with their own innovations.
