You will learn about the the Idea, the history of construction. We will see some particular details and discover some secrets.
Medici House and San Lorenzo Church
Here you will hear the history of Medici Family and their Rise to the Power, you will learn more about personal qualities of Cosimo the Elder and other members of the family.
Tower Houses
We will see the example of Tower House and speak about Guelf and Ghibbellin struggle in the city.
Signoria Square
We will continue to speak about Renaissance and Medici, we will discover the meaning of the statues on the square
Old Bridge
You will learn about the history of Old Bridge and River Arno.
Lunch
We will enjoy either short lunch break with a cheese and meat plate and a glass of wine or the we can have a warm lunch of traditional cusine.

We will walk through small streets of Oltrarno area and visit some cute workshops on the way till we arrive at Pitti Palace, the residence for Ruling families in Florence

We will enjoy the atmosphere of the most authentic part of Florence and you will here the most fascinating history of love.
Tornabuoni street and Santa Trinita Square
We are going to finish our tour walking through luxury Tornabuoni street to Santa Maria Novella Church with its famous Farmacy.

Please, have comfortable shoes and clothes adopted to the weather condition.
Consider that we may enter the Churches, so your clothes should not be too opened, or bring the foulard with you.
During summer time it is highly recommended to always have water with you and to use sun protection.

Hi, I'm Eva! I've been living in Florence since 2012 and I've become a professional licensed tour guide in 2016, since then I did a lot of private tours around Florence and in Tuscany, working with families and small groups of friends.
I'm still very curious and constantly learning new things about local history and artists, and Florence always gives you an opportunity to discover something interesting.
I'm in love with my city and I live quite an active life, so I can tell you a lot of things not only about history, but also about modern life of Florence.
During pandemic period I have finished the Wine Courses, so now I'm also professional sommelier, working in wine industry, and I can share my experience with you. We also have a nice wine cellar in the city center, where you can join one of our wine-tasting evenings.
My concept of exploring Italy is doing it with taste and style. So during our tour we will have no rush and you will have an opportunity to really enjoy Italian style of life.
Yes, I give a lot of historical information, but I'm very flexible and I always put your needs and wishes at the first place. So every tour is adopted to the client's preferences.
