We decided to combine two fantastic activity, we will starts our day with the visit of the archeological site of Herculaneum in the middle of the richness of the Roman Empire. After the two hours tour we will reach la masseria del feudo visiting vineyards and the cultivation of the famous pomodoro del Pienjolo we will be explained about all the details , and after we will sit and enjoying the taste of the local products and some local wine. At the end transfer back To your destination

Masseria dello sbirro
Masseria dello Sbirro is a farm that develops within the Vesuvius National Park.
It has an extension of about 7 hectares, located on the slopes of the Volcano, divided between the municipalities of Ercolano and Portici.
The cultivations extend over the land crossed by the lava from the 1944 eruption, where, among the small terraces, broom and other essences of the Mediterranean scrub, the plants of Bronte pistachios, a typical crop of the Etna area, have found a natural place.
The characteristics of the Vesuvius terrain, very similar to those of Etna, and the favorable climatic conditions prompted the owners to carry out this experience, which seems to have been perfectly successful.
On less inaccessible lands, where apricot trees and vines have found development in recent decades, maintaining the cultivation of these plants, the development of many small company productions has been privileged compared to a massive production of a single product.
The vineyard has been renovated and the production of wines, currently limited and dedicated to friends, is aimed at making wines such as Caprettone and Catalanesca made from native Vesuvian vines
To date, the main production of the company is represented by the "piennolo tomato of Vesuvius D.o.p.".
