Vicenza is the city where architect Andrea Palladio left 26 of his works. The Palladian Basilica, the Olimpic Theatre, the Chiericati palace and many others...It's one of the most elegant Italian cities. Not far from it is Padua, a real jewel where every square is a surprise. An university city. A place where Giotto left his masterpiece.

We were traveling by driver/car from Venice to Milan. We scheduled a 2.5 hr. tour with Mariacristina in Padua. She is a n amazingly knowledgeable guide. Within a short time we had seen some of the important sites, including the Scrovigni Chapel and had a quick walk through the city. I highly recommend her services
