I's the heart of Vicenza with the Palladian Basilica, around it there is a concentration of other small squares
Olimpic Theatre
It is one of the artistic wonders of Vicenza.The design is clearly inspired by the Roman theatres, as described by Vitruvius.
Corso Palladio
I's here and in some side-streets where are concentrated the palaces that Andrea Palladio realized.
Lunch Time
Let's stop to taste the typical food of Vicenza. One hour will do. Then we'll leave for Padua.
Padua Prato della Valle
One of the largest suggestive squares in Europe.
St Anthony Church
One of the most famous and popular sanctuary in Christendom.

A masterpiece in the history of painting in Italy and Europe in the 14th century, is considered to be the most complete series of frescoes executed by Giotto in his mature age.

Tour Important Information
Tickets to the Olimpic theatre and to the Palladian Basilica can be purchased on the same day of the visit. Monday closed.
Entrance reservation tickets to the Scrovegni Chapel must be made early in advance and tickets are not refundable.

In case the meeting point is not in the city centre, but outside, the pick up fee has to be added, and it depends on distance and kind of transport.

“Our quick tour of Padua”
We were traveling by driver/car from Venice to Milan. We scheduled a 2.5 hr. tour with Mariacristina in Padua. She is a n amazingly knowledgeable guide. Within a short time we had seen some of the important sites, including the Scrovigni Chapel and had a quick walk through the city. I highly recommend her services
