- The meeting point for your safari is conveniently located at Biashara Street in Nairobi’s Central Business District. This easily accessible location is a central hub, making it ideal for travelers coming from various parts of the city. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by our friendly team, who will assist you with any last-minute questions and provide a detailed briefing about your safari.
Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara
Your safari begins with a warm welcome from Claire, who will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel early in the morning. After a detailed briefing, set off in a well-equipped 4x4 safari jeep. Along the way, stop at the scenic Great Rift Valley viewpoint for breathtaking panoramas and photo opportunities.
Arrive at Maasai Mara in time for lunch at Simba Oryx Nature Camp, your home for the next two nights. After settling in, head out for your first game drive. This afternoon’s excursion introduces you to the diverse wildlife of the Mara, from towering giraffes to majestic elephants and, if lucky, prowling predators like lions or cheetahs. Return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay under the starry African skies.

Day 2: Full-Day Game Drives in Maasai Mara
Wake up to the sounds of the wild and prepare for an entire day of exploration in the Maasai Mara. After breakfast, venture out for morning and afternoon game drives, maximizing your chances of spotting the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. If your visit coincides with the Great Migration (July–October), you’ll witness the awe-inspiring river crossings, where thousands of wildebeests and zebras navigate the Mara River, braving hungry crocodiles.
Lunch will be a scenic picnic in the bush, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the wild surroundings. With the guidance of our expert driver-guide, every moment becomes a story worth remembering. After a fulfilling day, return to the camp for a delicious dinner and overnight stay.
