This hike begins at Sirimon Gate, leading through dense cedar and podocarpus forests before opening into high-altitude moorlands. Hikers gradually ascend through Liki and Mackinder’s valleys, reaching Shipton’s Camp before a pre-dawn push to Point Lenana for a stunning sunrise. The descent via Chogoria offers a striking contrast, with views of Lake Michaelson, the Gorges Valley, and cascading waterfalls, making this an unforgettable experience for trekkers seeking both challenge and beauty.
