Tour Important Information

Early start is essential: Departure from Nairobi is usually between 5:00–6:00 AM to maximize wildlife viewing and avoid traffic.

Travel time: The drive takes about 2.5–3 hours each way.

Road conditions: Most routes are good, but traffic leaving Nairobi can affect timing.

Wildlife sightings: Rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, lions, and flamingos are common, but sightings can never be guaranteed.

Flamingo numbers vary: Water levels and seasonal conditions affect flamingo presence.

Meals: clients should carry snacks.

What to carry: Passport/ID, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, camera, binoculars, and comfortable clothing.

Photography: Excellent for wildlife and landscapes; cameras/phones should be fully charged.

Physical activity: Mostly game drives, with minimal walking except at viewpoints.

Family-friendly: Suitable for most ages.
