Meeting Point
hotel in downtown Seoul, or at the Dongdaemun history & culture station.
- Upon the location of your hotel, two options are suggested. One is to meet at your hotel and the other one at the Subway station.
Arrival at the traihead / Paju
1.5hr driving to the trailhead in Paju and trekking starts.
Trekking to the summit with lunch
Begin hiking Mt. Gamaksan (675m, approx. 4–5 hours round trip) including Ungye Waterfall, Beomryunsa Temple, Boriam with stone pagodas, and panoramic views of DMZ and North Korea.
Monument for Seorma-ri battlefield(Korean war)
Visit Gloucester (Gloster) Hill Memorial Park with guided explanation OR optional visit to Korean Wild Grape Winery upon agreement.
Return to Seoul
Depart from Paju, heading back to Seoul.
Arrival in Seoul

1. This is a sort of professional trekking course, so only available for experienced ones.
2. Handicap, chronical disease person, & kids are not allowed for this tour, only adult and good fitness one.
3. I can cover up to 7 guests for trekking.
4. The itinerary is a standard one for everyone, so it can be customized for you upon request.
5. Trekking distance from trail head to end would be 7-11km, it will be determined by trekker's status at site.
6. All participants should wear the trekking shoes, backpacks, sticks, glove and other gears.
7. I have a "MOUNT EXPERT INSTRUCTOR" certificate issued by KNPS(Korea National Park Service), only few tour guides have it in Korea.
If it is rainy day, then we have other activity.
